Truffle-laced Lunch with a View & The Ultimate Truffle Happy Hour at Artisan de la Truffe

Upon the grand opening of globally-acclaimed truffle brand Artisan de la Truffe in Hong Kong’s Harbour City Ocean Terminal Extension, the modern French restaurant has already garnered a loyal following. Be it infused or freshly-shaven, black, white and seasonal truffles are showcased in exquisite dishes, offered at an affordable price point. This most luxurious of ingredients will continue to entice palates in the new set lunch menu presented by local celebrity television Chef Ricky Kam-cheung Cheung and Head Chef Manful Lee Man Lung, available now from Monday to Friday, 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.

An indulgent ingredient, the finest seasonal truffles will now perfume delicious dishes from November up till January, as guests enjoy lunch paired with stunning harbourfront views. Set lunch starts at HKD$208 for an appetizer and a main or a main and a dessert. Commence the meal with the Soupe aux Champignons, a soothing porcini and mushroom soup elevated with truffle shavings. Another delectable item is the Tartare de Boeuf, where tenderloin tartare is served with an egg yolk, thin toast and truffle shavings, with each bite leaving a lasting impression. Other appetizers include Oeufs Brouillés et Pancetta Grillées, a satisfying platter of roasted pancetta, scrambled eggs, toast and truffle; and Foie Gras Poêle, seared duck liver served with caramelized apple, toasted brioche and truffle jus.

For mains, the Poisson du Jour served with truffle Beurre Blanc and truffle shavings adding an earthy touch to the fish of the day, while one of the most popular dishes is the al dente Tagliatelle, an Italian favorite seeped in a creamy rich white wine sauce topped with truffle, which is freshly shaved in front of the guests. An addictive recommendation: mix everything together to ensure each flat strand of pasta is coated thickly in the sauce. Other highlighted mains include the Porc Ibérique Grillé, in which truffle shavings impart a delicate touch to grilled Iberico pork and grain mustard sauce; Grilled U.S. Prime Sirloin Steak with red wine truffle sauce layered in shavings and Slow Roasted Chicken Breast drizzled with black truffle jus.

Dessert is another sensational experience. The truffle-infused Crème Brûlée is served with truffle ice cream; similar to the distinctive and powerful flavor of vanilla, truffles excite the taste buds while blending harmoniously with the other ingredients. Lunch is certainly looking up.
