Sonos (Nasdaq: SONO) today introduced Roam SL, the essential ultra-portable speaker now at a more affordable price point without voice assistance. Compact yet powerful, the Roam SL can be moved around with ease from room to room and taken out anywhere you go – the perfect companion as we spend more time at home and for those who like to get back to nature on a hike. Representing a new versatile addition to the Sonos lineup, Roam SL is available starting from March 15, and for pre-order starting from today, for HKD1,699 exclusively on trysonos.hk , hk.tcacoustic.asia and through Fortress Hong Kong.Sharing the same premium, elegant and durable design as the first generation of the Roam smart speaker, Roam SL is dust proof and fully waterproof with a rigorously tested IP67 rating, and features silicone end caps and physical buttons to protect against drops or bumps.

Like Roam, Roam SL delivers rich, detailed sound with incredible clarity, depth, and fullness for its size. Supporting a simultaneous connection to both WiFi and Bluetooth, Roam SL allows for a seamless listening experience. When you are listening at home, Roam SL connects to your Sonos home theater system and streams on WiFi; when you leave home, it intuitively switches to Bluetooth and automatically re-pairs with your mobile device. A microphone-free version of Roam ideal for those who are not in need of a voice assistant, Roam SL does not support voice control, nor the Sound Swap and Trueplay features. Same as the rest of the Sonos lineup, Roam SL works with more than 100 streaming services, including Sonos Radio, and is easily controlled with the Sonos app.
