COVA Pasticceria & Caffetteria Celebrates Grand Opening at Pacific Place

Hong Kong — The iconic Italian pasticceria COVA, part of the world-renowned LVMH Group, has officially reopened its doors at Pacific Place, marking a grand return that blends Milanese tradition with modern indulgence. The new concept welcomes guests with exclusive handmade delicacies — from Neapolitan sourdough pizza to the charming nano cake collection.

A Legacy of Italian Craftsmanship

With over 200 years of heritage, COVA is celebrated worldwide as a symbol of Italian elegance, craftsmanship, and timeless taste. The reopening event was graced by Paola Faccioli, CEO of COVA Montenapoleone, and Martin Lee, COO of Maxim’s Group, who jointly highlighted COVA’s enduring presence in Hong Kong’s dining scene.

“Pacific Place has always held a special place in COVA’s story in Hong Kong,” said Paola Faccioli. “This opening is a renewal of our promise to bring Milanese artistry and refinement to life here — from every handmade pastry to each signature cake.”

Martin Lee added, “Our partnership with COVA continues to elevate Hong Kong’s culinary landscape with world-class dining experiences that reflect the elegance and excellence of COVA’s Milan flagship.”

A Fresh New Concept for Asia

The newly refurbished Pacific Place store introduces a first-of-its-kind concept in Asia, mirroring the elegant design of COVA’s Montenapoleone flagship in Milan. Guests are welcomed by a spectacular five-foot-tall “Cake Manifest”, an artistic display of layered cakes and pastries that celebrates the joy of Italian confectionery.

The space functions as both a pasticceria and caffetteria, offering an all-day experience — from Milanese breakfasts and artisanal pastries to espresso, aperitivo, gelato, and handmade sourdough pizzas. The design seamlessly combines dine-in sophistication with a takeaway counter and a dedicated cake boutique featuring exclusive creations.

Exclusive Opening Creations

Introducing the “Nano Cake” Collection

Another highlight is the nano cake Collection, a collaboration between COVA Milan and Hong Kong. These miniature three-inch cakes are crafted for personal indulgence — “a little sweet treat to myself anytime.”

  • Nano Berry (HK$138): Blueberry cream, whole berries, and purple sponge crumble.

  • Nano Coconut (HK$158): Layers of coconut mousse, custard, and chiffon, wrapped in a white chocolate shell.

Continuing a Storied Legacy

With its return to Pacific Place, COVA reaffirms its commitment to Hong Kong’s evolving dining scene. Blending Milanese artistry with local sophistication, the brand continues to honour its three-decade legacy in the city — and promises a new era of Italian excellence for generations to come.
