The Art Of Soap L’Occitane en Provence Artisanal Soap Collection

L’Occitane en Provence unveils a reimagined soap collection, crafted in homage to the Provençal soapmaking expertise that has shaped the maison for decades.

Rooted in tradition, each soap is created using an ancestral cauldron-cooking method that has guided L’Occitane en Provence since its earliest days. This time-honoured process, passed down through generations of Provençal masters, transforms carefully selected natural vegetal oils through slow saponification—yielding a soap of exceptional purity and quality rarely found in modern formulations.

Our liquid soaps are a harmonious blend of heritage and everyday elegance. Oils are gently warmed in the cauldron under expert care, allowing the process to unfold at its own rhythm. Free from unnecessary additives and harsh chemicals, the resulting formulas respect the skin’s natural balance, leaving it soft, nourished, and comfortable.

Each use offers a moment of quiet indulgence. The lather is creamy and comforting, the cleanse thorough yet gentle, and the skin is left clean—never tight. It is skincare shaped by intention, patience, and craftsmanship.

Reflecting the maison’s enduring commitments, every blend in the collection is vegan and palm oil-free, made exclusively with natural vegetal oils. The solid body soaps are embossed with the Provençal archway—a signature element of Haute Provence architecture—symbolising the heritage and creativity at the heart of the collection.

To honour this legacy, the liquid soaps are presented in glass and recycled plastic bottles inspired by traditional Provençal apothecary jars. Their refined silhouette evokes timeless elegance, while an embossed monogram serves as a discreet signature—an enduring promise of the craft within.

The new L’Occitane en Provence bath & body soap bars and hand wash collection will officially launch in January 2026.
