Pici Celebrates 10 Years with Exclusive Menu Dishes with Netflix Champion Napoli Matfia Across All 10 Locations This July
Not long ago, Pici shocked the city by announcing that the one and only Napoli Matfia — Chef Kwon Sung-jun, the champion of Netflix’s hit show Culinary Class Wars — is coming to town to kickstart our landmark 10th Anniversary campaign. The response from Hong Kong’s pasta lovers has been nothing short of resounding. Proving the city’s immense love for honest Italian food, the coveted seats for the upcoming Guest Chef Dinners sold out in a record-breaking less than five minutes!
But missing out on the initial tickets is no reason for FOMO. This lightning-fast sellout is just the beginning of our month-long festival, and the most exciting, flavor-packed part of the celebration awaits everyone this July.
From 1 to 31 July, Pici is bringing the star-powered magic of Chef Kwon directly to your neighborhood. It is notoriously difficult to secure a reservation at his own restaurant in South Korea, but Hong Kong diners can enjoy a front-row seat to his culinary genius through four exclusive collaboration dishes. Melding his deep Italian training with Pici’s signature soul, the limited-time dishes feature:
Tagliolini Sicilian Prawn Tartare e Bottarga (HKD180)
A creative take on the 17th-century Napolitan signature. The classic AOP (Aglio Oglio Peperoncino) receives a contemporary upgrade with a Sicilian pink prawn tartare and Bottarga creating a refreshing, joyful touch that cuts through the rich emulsion.
Pici White Poultry Ragu & Truffle (HKD160)
A satisfying white ragu featuring a quatuor of poultry (duck, guinea fowl, yellow chicken, and turkey) topped with a blissful rain of fresh truffle adorn our classic hand rolled white dough Pici pasta.
Ravioli Galbi-jjim (HKD170)
A bridge between Korea and Italy, featuring braised short ribs with a sweet-savory kick from pear and pineapple. Set on a rich base of demi-glace (rich meat jus reduction) and finished with Parmesan cream on top, a perfect flavor trip and perfect exemplification of Napoli Matfia & Pici collaboration.
Chestnuts Tiramisu (HKD70)
The legendary showdown creation from Chef Kwon in Culinary Class Wars. Mocha soaked ladyfinger biscuits, classic mascarpone based intertwined with puréed chestnuts, topped with an espresso-marron glacés sauce and chopped chestnuts.

Guests can indulge in these global champion creations daily throughout July at all 10 Pici locations across Hong Kong. Yes, you heard that right — not nine, but ten! This summer marks the official launch of Pici YOHO in Yuen Long, dropping our tenth flag in town. This exciting milestone stands as the best testament to our decade-long dedication to serving fresh, handmade pasta to our community.
Catch Napoli Matfia Live at the PMQ Anniversary Market
If you were unable to secure a seat for the exclusive June dinners, do not worry about missing out on the action. You can still catch Napoli Matfia himself live in person on Saturday, 27 June at the Pici 10th Anniversary Market taking over the PMQ Atrium from 12:00PM to 7:00 PM. No registration is required to join this massive public block party, where you can witness the champion’s high-intensity live cooking demonstrations, shop exclusive anniversary merchandise, and learn the art of hand-rolling at our Pici workshops.
