A Delicious Mother’s Day Celebration New World Millennium Hotel

New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel is presenting a delicious range of dining options in celebration of Mother’s Day on 8 May 2022. Mothers will be pampered in style with specially curated menus at the hotel’s restaurants, to be enjoyed with the whole family.

Café East

Café East’s Mother’s Day dinner buffet will be available on 8 May 2022. Guests can start with seafood on ice, including Boston lobster, edible crabs and mussels, followed by a deluxe sashimi selection, with sweet shrimps, Hokkaido scallop and geoduck, as well as scrumptious dishes like tuna tartar, robatayaki, clams with sake broth, Korean kimchee seafood pancake and Korean budae jigae. Brighten her day with sweet treats such as baked honey cheesecake, Korean garlic cheese bread and yuzu double cheesecake. Along with a line-up of Mother’s Day limited delicacies, including double-boiled soup with sea conch, fish maw and black silkie chicken, doubled-boiled bird’s nest with coconut juice and peach resin, pan-seared oysters in port wine, braised abalone and duck feet with oyster sauce prepared à la minute and more. Dinner buffet priced at HKD748 for adults and HKD518 for children (3 to 11 years old).

Diners may also savour a range of international fare at lunch and afternoon tea buffet, including unlimited servings of seafood on ice, cooked-to-order seafood laksa, Hainanese chicken rice, teppanyaki wagyu and salmon, assorted sashimi and a series of dessert, with lunch buffet priced at HKD518 for adults and HKD368 for children, afternoon tea buffet at HKD428 for adults and HKD288 for children.

Tao Li

Overlooking the spectacular Victoria Harbour, Tao Li will be offering a range of Mother’s Day-themed dim sum on 8 May 2022. Specialties include conpoy dumpling with whole abalone, fish maw and bird’s nest in supreme soup; steamed shrimp dumplings with crab roe, asparagus and crab coral; baked milk custard buns with bird’s nest and almond juice; steamed rice flour rolls with scallops, egg white and crab coral; sweetened mashed pumpkin with cream and sago, and much more.

Specially designed dinner menus featuring authentic Cantonese delicacies are also on offer. Mother’s Day dinner sets for 6 and 12 guests will be priced at HKD5,180 and HKD9,980 respectively.


Sagano’s Japanese Head Chef Noka Masahiko nicely crafts a seven-course Mother’s Day Kaiseki dinner, priced at HKD1,500 per person, for all mothers who fancy Japanese fare on 8 May 2022.  The set offers authentic Japanese specialities ranging from fresh bean curd skin with sea urchin, and slightly-grilled scallops and asparagus with spicy miso paste as appetisers, followed by fatty tuna, striped jack, flounder and Botan shrimp sashimi, Japanese style stewed Wagyu and kujo hotpot with egg, grilled eel with soy sauce, abalone and pepper tempura. Included too are minced fatty tuna with spring onion, sea urchin and salmon roe on rice, as well as seasonal fruit as dessert.
