Amalfitana – Artisan Pizza Bar is an Amalfi Coast inspired authentic pizzeria and bar drawing its inspiration from the Amalfi Coast located at The Pulse, Hong Kong’s largest beach-front shopping mall situated in Repulse Bay.
Chef Michel Degli Agosti, seasoned and experienced from training and working as a Pizzaiolo in Italy and London, heads the culinary team. The menu is rooted with tradition but modernized for today. The classic pizza is a main stay, but alongside it you will find an exciting array of creative toppings, seaside small plates, and fresh salads, among others.
With a menu that offers something for all, indulge in a selection of starters and salads like the eye-catching Tricolore, Tomato Bruschetta, Avocado, Bufala Mozzarella ($90) and Barley Salad, Spelt, Pine Nuts, Cherry Tomato, Sundried Tomato, Pesto ($90). Making use of a vintage Berkel slicer, there is also a selection of Tagliere, Cured Meats, Cheeses and Grilled Vegetables ($130 – $220).
Adopting the best of the various styles of pizza making, Pizzaiolo Michel uses a technique of long rising dough whereby the pizzas are lighter and easier to digest. Using a variety of Italian produce and ingredients such as San Marzano tomatoes, signature pizzas include the Margherita, Tomato, Mozzarella ($130), Amalfitana, Bufala Mozzarella, Tomato, Porcini Mushroom, Rocket, Parma Ham ($250), Italia, Tomato, Bufala Mozzarella, Basil ($180) and daily Chef Specials such as Il Capo, Black Truffle (shaved tableside by the Chef), Tomato, Mozzarella, Porcini Mushroom, Rocket ($488) to name a few.
Kids are made to feel right at home with games, colouring sets and their very own Bambino Menu featuring fish shaped pizzas like Baby Pepperoni, Pepperoni Sausage ($75), Baby Prosciutto Funghi, Prosciutto, Funghi, Mozzarella ($70), Baby Olivia, Black Olives, Tomato, Mozzarella ($65) amongst others.

No meal is complete without a bit of Dolce for those with a sweet tooth, Tiramisu, Lady Fingers, Mascarpone, Espresso ($80), Nutella Pizza, Nutella, Strawberries, Banana ($90), Gelato, Pistachio, Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla ($50), Sorbet, Lemon ($50) and Kimbo Coffee.
Playing an equally important role is the beverage program highlighted by house made Limoncello infusions (Ginger, Orange, Rosemary), a dedicated Spritz list, and multiple variations on the classic Negroni. Some of these curated by our resident mixologist include a refreshing take on a summer spritz, Estate, Sipsmith Summer Cup, Ginger ale, Prosecco, Soda ($120), Balotelli, Chili Rum, Aperol, Prosecco ($110) and Rose Maria, Rosemary Infused Aperol, Prosecco, Soda ($100). With Negroni’s fresh in our minds a variety of them are featured on the menu, including Marina, Bourbon, Rosemary Infused Aperol, Punt e Mes ($130) and Maldini, Gin, Suze, Lillet Blanc, Marashchino ($130). A big part of the beverage list comprises an Italian centric wine list as well as beers on tap, and classic cocktails.
The 60-seater Artisan Pizza Bar’s interior reflects the look and feel of the colorful Amalfi Coast.

Takeaway is also available and a dedicated delivery service for neighboring areas will be launched at a later stage with Amalfitana’s own vespa fleet.
