The sensational “Taste of Texas” menu is now serving at The Peak Lookout and at Jimmy’s Kitchen (both Central and Kowloon) featuring Texas flavours for a limited time only! Executive Chef Brian Moore has added a new twist to the traditional menu offerings with a series of local Texas favorites to welcome Autumn with a Lone Star feast.
The Peak Lookout, offering spectacular view of the Southern China Sea, presents four all-day Texas dishes using the best meats from the US. The special menu includes Black Beer-marinated USDA Hanger Steak (HKD358) tastes so perfect with just a brush of oil and pinch of salt and pepper. The restaurant also offers dishes that can be shared including the Slow-cooked USDA Beef Short Rib (HKD568) and USDA Prime Dallas Cowboy T-bone Steak (HKD688). The non-beef option is USDA Baby Pork Back Ribs (HKD328) where extra smoky flavour of the Austin slaw on the grill is topped with a homemade barbeque sauce.
In addition to the ribs and hanger steak, the two Jimmy’s Kitchen outlets added a few more special dishes to the dinner menu, including Cowboy Ranch Soup (HKD68), a rich and creamy soup made of ground beef, sour cream, beans, corn and tomatoes; Roadhouse Chili Burger (HKD178), a unique burger made with homemade steak, pepper jack cheese, jalapeno and ranch sauce as well as President Ford’s Braised Eye of Round Steak (HKD298) with mac n’ cheese, which will never fail to whet diners’ appetite. For iconic Texas dessert, Lone Star Peach Cobbler with peaches nestled in a buttery pastry of rich cinnamon flavour, is definitely one of the best ways to experience the Austin culinary culture.
The Peak Lookout
Situated above the city overlooking the South China Sea, The Peak Lookout is a Hong Kong landmark with unique character. The restaurant, having served generations of patrons including both locals and visitors, offers fine food within an elegant heritage house seeped in rich history. This Grade II historic building, typifying ‘East meets West’ architecture, first began offering light refreshments in 1947 and continues to serve a wide range of international dishes of exceptional quality.

Jimmy’s Kitchen Central
Jimmy’s Kitchen Central has been serving international food since 1928 and is a highly renowned culinary institution. The menu offers a full array of international dishes ranging from English bangers and mash, to Chinese fried rice, to Indian curries. The wine cellar holds more than 400 bottles of wines of rare vintages from some of the world’s finest vineyards.

Jimmy’s Kitchen Kowloon
Jimmy’s Kitchen Kowloon opened on Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui in 1969 moving later in 1982 to first floor of Kowloon Center at Ashley Road, and in 2008 to ground floor of the same building, its current home. The restaurant offers a pleasant dining venue for both locals and tourists. It has been serving customers for generations and many of them still come back for anniversaries or to enjoy their favourite classic dish.
