AYANA Bali Celebrates Chinese New Year with Exciting Events and Exclusive Promotions To: Grace Chan

From 5 to 11 February 2024, AYANA Bali is welcoming the Year of the Dragon with series of fireworks and traditional dances to special menus and themed children’s activities.

AYANA Bali in Jimbaran, Bali’s biggest integrated resort, will soon launch a series of vibrant celebrations in the lead up to Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. The events and promotions will be held across multiple venues at AYANA Resort throughout February. Guests of all ages are invited to join AYANA in welcoming the Year of the Dragon, which symbolizes power, nobleness, honor, luck and success in Chinese culture. From festive traditional delicacies and lavish buffet dinners to spa treatments imbued with ancient wisdom, AYANA’s Chinese New Year celebrations guarantee guests an exciting and enlightening start to the Year of the Dragon.

A time-honored symbol of longevity, noodles are an integral part of every table during Chinese festivals and special occasions. Throughout AYANA’s week of Chinese New Year celebrations, guests can enjoy a Special Noodle Menu encircled by koi ponds and verdant gardens at To’Ge. Meanwhile, at Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant, which will present a Family-style Lunch and Special Dinner Menu from February 8 to 11, guests will delight in seasonal delicacies such as Fortune Colorful Glutinous Rice Ball and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Soup.

On Friday, February 9, AYANA’s world-famous Rock Bar — perched just 14 meters above the Indian Ocean — will host the Dragon’s Roar: Chinese New Year Countdown, while on the same evening guests can enjoy a Special Buffet Dinner surrounded by terraced lotus ponds at Padi.

On Chinese New Year, Saturday, February 10, a Barong Dance and Fireworks Show will illuminate RIMBA by AYANA’s spectacular lobby. That night, at the dramatic amphitheater venue Kampoeng Bali, guests can enjoy a Buffet Dinner featuring a breathtaking array of traditional Chinese fare. Named Asia’s Best Family Resort by the World Travel Awards in 2023, RIMBA by AYANA invites younger guests to take part in its colorful Chinese New Year Kids Activities at the Kids Club on February 10, which will also be conducted at AYANA Resort Bali’s Kids Club.

Throughout the month of February, guests can indulge in special Chinese New Year-inspired spa treatments, including the Orange Blossom Body Buff and Lunar Bliss ritual. Symbolizing good fortune, health, and fertility, the delicate and sweetly fragrant orange blossom is a popular bloom at Chinese celebrations, while the Lunar Bliss ritual weaves together Abhyanga massage, aromatherapy, gemstones, and chakra sound healing to deeply nourish and soothe the mind, body, and spirit.

Giordano Faggioli, General Manager of AYANA Bali says “AYANA Bali has long been a chosen destination among thousands of Chinese visitors each year. This is why we place great significance on celebrating Chinese New Year — not only to ring in the new year with our Chinese guests, but to highlight the significant festivities of Chinese culture. We hope all guests staying with us during February join us in welcoming the Year of the Dragon through our exciting program of events and special promotions.”
