Bally Unveils AW11 Advertising Campaign

Bally is proud to unveil its new Autumn/Winter 2011 advertising campaign, revealing an intimate and seductive mood for the brand developed under the guidance of Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler.

Shot in New York City in late April, the campaign features exotic Brazilian model Caroline Trentini and top American model Karlie Kloss alongside Argentinian-born Nico Malleville, all of whom embody the provocative beauty and classic European cool of Bally’s AW11 collection.

American photographer Steven Meisel has used his iconic-style to create an entirely contemporary image of Bally that is both extraordinarily beautiful and strong. The campaign was styled by British-stylist Edward Enninful who has previously worked with Bally on the SS11 campaign and is one of today's most influential fashion editors.

From Bally Creative Directors, Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler
‘Steven Meisel and the team have given us an expressive sense of environment focusing on iconic product and desirability for a new Bally, created by his extraordinary use of light and sophisticated casting. We are very pleased to be in collaboration with such a prestigious team.’

Set within a luxurious world of contemporary opulence, the striking images showcase the shoes, bags and ready-to-wear in an alluring, modernist style. With an overall feel of intoxicating elegance, the women’s collection features statuesque heels and curvaceous lines that include Bally’s ice-pick metal heel and the inspired heel-within-a-heel from the 160th anniversary collection. Details include fine multi-buckles, metal fasteners and leather tassels against a rich winter palette of carmine red, azure blue, whiskey and black.

The campaign introduces an ensemble of bags including the soft lines of the colourful ‘Edelweiss’ 160th anniversary collection and the ‘Pina’ statement tote, offered here in ultra-chic shearling for true winter flair.

Ready-to-wear is characterised by bonded leather, wool tartan and intarsia, silk jacquard, cashmere and silky fur. The streamlined silhouette created by the laser-cut leather and silk jacquard of the dresses is paired with over-sized and structured coats to create a cool, architectural look. Colours include black, azure blue, navy blue, carmine red and bottle green.
