Originally designed in 1969 by Gaetano Pesce, the chair has gone through several series, and it is now the only chair, produced by B&B Italia, without a metal frame inside. Cleverly manufactured in cold shaped polyurethane foam, the chair is held up by its density of mass and foam alone. Right from the onset, the Up series has been one of the most outstanding expressions of design, upholstered with elastic fabric and it is now available in an assortment of colours in Hong Kong.
