Belmond continues to celebrate its legendary destinations through the pages of its publishing collection, created in collaboration with the world’s leading publisher. From Assouline’s exquisite coffee table books honouring Belmond’s legendary destinations, the soulful Recipes & Wanderings: El Bajio with Apartamento, to the evocative As Seen By photobooks with Parisian publisher RVB Books, unveiled at Paris Photo 2025, each title offers a distinct reflection of Belmond’s enduring connection to the art of slow luxury. A celebration of culture, craftsmanship and the timeless allure of travel through the written and visual arts.

  1. BELMOND CELEBRATES ITS LEGENDARY DESTINATIONS WITH A NEW SERIES OF COFFEE TABLE BOOKS BY ASSOULINE, LAUNCHING FROM 27 OCTOBER

Part of Assouline’s Classics collection, the Legendary Destinations series celebrates Belmond’s most iconic properties around the world. Featuring archival materials and rich photography commissioned by Belmond — with contributors including Chris Rhodes, Colin Dodgson, Gleeson Paulino, Francisco Parente, and others — each volume also includes a monograph by a regional expert, blending research and imagery into a compelling exploration of a destination. The series launches at a defining moment in Belmond’s history. ‘Splendido: The Radiant Stage on Portofino’ marks a new era for the town’s grand dame, following a major renovation by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, completed in June 2025. Meanwhile, ‘Peru: An Odyssey Across a Time-Honoured Land’ commemorates 25 years of Belmond in Peru, showcasing the brand’s six hotels and two train experiences. Both books will be available to order internationally on Assouline’s website and extensive distribution network.

Apartamento and Belmond honour the close connection between travel and terroir with their ‘Recipes & Wanderings’ series of cookbooks. Now in its fourth iteration, ‘El Bajío: Recipes & Wanderings Through Mexico’s Heartland’ will launch on 20 October, featuring photography by Heather Sten alongside a diverse collection of voices from chefs, writers, and entrepreneurs across Mexico. Melding the region’s vibrant gastronomic traditions with artistic perspectives from singular photographers and writers, this book features 24 recipes from an array of culinary talents such as Ruben Yáñez Hernández, Chef of Sazón Cooking School at Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel, San Miguel de Allende; Founder of Rubra in Punta de Mita, Daniela Soto-Innes; Pastry Chef and Founder of La Postreria in Guadalajara, Fernanda Covarrubias;Co-Founder Yola Mezcal, an organic mezcal brand handcrafted in Oaxaca, Yola Jiménez.   1. BELMOND AND RENOWNED PARISIAN PUBLISHER RVB BOOKS SHOWCASE THE LATEST FROM THEIR COLLECTIBLE ART BOOK SERIES AT PARIS PHOTO 2025 FROM 13-16 NOVEMBER

In 2024, Belmond proudly launched its ‘As Seen By’ collectible photobooks with Parisian publisher RVB Books, inviting some of the most talented and distinctive photographers such as Coco Capitán, Rosie Marks, Letizia Le Fur, Thomas Rousset and Stefanie Moshammer, to travel to global Belmond destinations as part of the Belmond Legends campaign. The collection showcases a photographers’ original take on a Belmond destination, giving an in-depth and intimate experience of each place. Printed in Venice and bound with a cloth cover that graphically interprets each destination, the collaboration has launched six books to date, withthree further launches during Paris Photo: Cap Juluca in Anguilla as seen by Jeano Edwards, Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro by Ángel Castellanos and Castello di Casole in Tuscany by Belmond Photographic Residency inaugural winner Cecy Young. Showcased for the duration of Paris Photo (13-16 November) in the Grand Palais’ prestigious first floor publishing area and available for purchase through RVB’s website from 12 November. These books will continue to define Belmond’s annual publishing calendar with each edition presenting a singular interpretation of a Belmond destination.

Together, these publishing collaborations illuminate Belmond’s world through the eyes of artists, chefs, and storytellers who share its passion for authenticity and place. Whether through the grandeur of Portofino, the soulful flavours of Mexico’s heartland, or the intimate perspectives captured in far-flung destinations, each page offers an invitation to linger, to feel, and to rediscover the art of slow travel, one story, one photograph, one journey at a time.
