Cafe East “Duo seafood & chocolate” Dinner buffet

Whole Abalone and Shrimp in Sake Jelly 清酒鮮蝦鮑魚啫喱凍_sDiners are invited to enjoy a new gastronomic experience at Café East of New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel from 1 April to 30 June 2015.  Chefs will present a wide selection of seafood specialities as well as chocolate desserts at the dinner buffet, delivering a truly enticing gourmet experience.

To stimulate the appetite, diners may start the meal with the Seafood on Ice, savouring unlimited servings of Boston Lobsters, Canadian Snow Crab Legs, French Edible Crabs, Australian Spanner Crabs and US Blue Mussels.  Other appetisers such as Whole Abalone and Shrimp in Sake Jelly, Crabmeat and Avocado Gateau with Avruga Caviar, Scallop and Mango Cocktail and Seared Ginger Tuna with Wasabi Dressing are also excellent choices for diners.

For the hot dishes, diners should not miss the cooked-to-order Bouillabaisse Soup with a range of fresh seafood, including crabmeat, mantis shrimp, scallop, razor clam and sea bass, complemented by a soup base stewed with fish broth and tomatoes.  Alternatively, diners may sample the Grilled Big Head Prawn with Garlic Butter Sauce, freshly made at the teppanyaki counter.

Other hot dishes for diners include Stir-fried Sea Clams with Thai Spicy Sauce, Wok-fried Crab with Ginger and Spring Onion, Baked Oyster with Onion and Bacon, Mediterranean Seafood Stew, Steamed Red Crab with Egg Custard, Steamed Whole Garoupa with Soya Sauce and Sautéed Chinese Cabbage with Crabmeat.  Meat lovers will be especially delighted by the Teppanyaki Australian Rib Eye of Beef, Roasted Whole Pork Leg (available from Monday to Thursday) and Roasted Canada Prime Rib of Beef (available from Friday to Sunday and on public holiday).

The home-made chocolate desserts crafted by the pastry team will be the perfect finale for the sweet tooth.  Diners will be lured by the Chocolate Cube, made with 70 percent dark chocolate, and the White Forest Roll Cake, using Lindt white chocolate, cherries and freshly made cream.  Other treats for diners include Tricolor Chocolate Mousse Cup, Rich Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Chocolate Tart, White Chocolate Chestnut Tart, Yuzu Chocolate Mousse Cup, Assorted Cracked Chocolate and more.  Diners should not miss the Häagen-Dazs Ice-Cream and Yogurt Ice-cream with condiments to finish the meal with perfection.

What’s more, from Friday to Sunday and public holiday, every dinner buffet’s patron will be offered a complimentary Buddha Jumps Over The Wall soup. The double-boiled soup is made with abalone, fish maw, conpoy, chicken, Jinhua ham and other deluxe dried seafood and will be served to the table.
