Cartier Launches La Panthère Limited Edition Fragrances

Feline & Floral Are Brought Together to Embody the Panthère  Cartier’s Allegory of Femininity

To celebrate the fifth birthday of La Panthère, Cartier is launching a limited edition of its iconic fragrance. Two new brightly decorated bottles highlight the multiple facets of this feline, floral fragrance. Animality emerges from a gardenia, revealed by a musky structure that is both animal and molecular, physical and abstract. Feline and floral are brought together to embody the Panthère, Cartier’s allegory of femininity.

Created in 2014 by Cartier’s perfumer Mathilde Laurent, La Panthère has made its name as a classic fragrance by daring to reintroduce the legendary chypre with an innovative feline-floral accord. It embodies the contemporary and unrestricted creative vision of Cartier’s olfactory style: to escape the dull consensus and instead spark emotions.

Rihanna Teaches A Makeup Artistry Class

After much anticipation, Rihanna took to the stage at Lotte World Tower in Seoul last night to teach her live makeup class, ‘Fenty Beauty Artistry & Beauty Talk with Rihanna’. She then surprised guests at the ultimate Exclusive Fenty Beauty Launch Party hosted by Shinsegae Duty Free at their store. 

 

Rihanna and her global makeup artists, Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal gave fans a behind-the-scenes experience, talking about their best beauty secrets, artistry tips, and demonstrating their favorite ways to use Fenty Beauty products on stage.

 

Rihanna spoke about the process of creating Fenty Beauty – a passion project that brought together her life-long love of makeup and vision for a new beauty brand that would be inclusive for everyone. After years of working in the entertainment industry and developing her own artistry skills, she was inspired to create Fenty Beauty which brought her vision of beauty to life. She meticulously worked to find the perfect formulas, textures, shades, packaging, and of course had fun with the naming process! She also coined her everyday makeup routine the ‘Fenty Face’, making it easier for clients to get her flawless and always photo-ready complexion in 3 easy steps. 

 

Rihanna gave guests an unforgettable, immersive and personalized artistry experience from the moment they checked in. Makeup Artists helped clients find their perfect foundation shade, as well as try, play and learn about the full assortment of Fenty Beauty products including Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter, Stunna Lip Paint, and Match Stix Skinsticks. It was the ultimate celebration with a live DJ and passed food, creating a fun atmosphere.

 

Rihanna finished the class with the first global sneak peek debut of her brand new Diamond Bomb II All-Over Diamond Veil in ‘Holo At Me’ and Liquid Diamond Bomb called ‘Rollin Ice’, as shimmering confetti fell from above. Everyone in the audience was gifted the new collection – the first in the world to get their hands on it! 

 

Rihanna worked with Global Makeup Artist Priscilla Ono for her own look that night, wearing her latest product that she revealed earlier in the night, Diamond Bomb II All-Over Diamond Veil in ‘Holo at Me’ and Stunna Lip Paint in Unattached.
