Contemporary Korean Vegetarian Restaurant ‘Soil to Soul’

Launches “Beyond Vegan–Autumn” Afternoon Tea Experience

in Collaboration with Vegan Nail Retailer ‘Green Beauty Lab’

Contemporary Korean vegetarian restaurant Soil to Soul extends its popular seasonal afternoon tea series with a “Beyond Vegan – Autumn” afternoon tea set from 1 October to 30 November 2021 in collaboration with Hong Kong online vegan nail retailer Green Beauty Lab.

The delightful afternoon tea experience of signature and new savoury and sweet vegetarian delicacies inspired by Korean temple food is priced HK$498 for two.  Artfully curated by ‘World Master Chef’ Gu Jin Kwang, one of the very few Korean afternoon tea experiences in town focuses especially on plant-based seasonal autumn ingredients and colourful presentations, featuring both signature favourites and completely new creations, available daily from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

For the brand collaboration, the delightful treat also includes a complimentary Bio Seaweed Gel vegan gel nail polish (15ml) distributed by Green Beauty Lab  (www.thegreenbeautylab.com/),valued HK$198.

Eminently photogenic in a monastic-style, the two-layered wooden box tray, petite savoury snacks present Kimbap – Korean Rice Roll, Cabbage Roll with Ssam-Jang Sauce, Deep Fried Veggies and Rice Ball with Assorted Jangajj.

An array of traditional sweet, Korean-style vegan treats feature crunchy and chewy Korean Traditional Donut, French-inspired pastry Homemade Madeleine, Assorted Korean Mochi, along with crunchy ‘popping’ puffed rice Korean Brown Rice Biscuit, Seasonal Fruit Jelly, Walnut & Dried Persimmon Roll that once served to ancient royalty, and Caramelized Cashew Nut Tart.

In addition to Korean Herbal tea, house-made plant-based mocktails on a colour theme at HK$48 include Green (Fresh Cucumber, Fresh Mint with Apple Juice), Orange (Yuzu, Fresh Lemon Juice), Purple (Fresh Blueberry, Fresh Lime Juice), Cyan (Fresh Guava Juice, Apple Juice, Fresh Lime Juice), Beige (Pineapple, Coconut) and Pink (Pineapple & Grapefruit Juice Fresh Lime Juice and Cranberry Juice).

Additionally, diners also receive a voucher for redeeming an original sized Bio Seaweed Gel Base, No-wipe Top Gel, and 12W LED/UV Mini Gel Lamp (Black) upon any purchases online from Green Beauty Lab, for professional salon-grade gel nail art at home (valued at HK$688).

“Beyond Vegan – Autumn” is so exclusive that only ten highly sought-after afternoon tea sets are available daily, so reservations are highly recommended.  On booking, diners are also advised to reserve the promotional gift as limited numbers are available.

Internationally-experienced ‘World Master Chef’ Gu Jin Kwang introduces a contemporary to Hong Kong at the helm of Soil to Soul, interpreting the ancient wisdom with a wide variety of nourishing a la carte specialties, lunch sets and dinner tasting menus, alongside contemporary bar snacks.

The philosophy adheres to a righteous natural order with a ‘humble, grateful heart’ without polluting or harming nature, mindful that just as the body and mind, humans and nature are one.  The restaurant also strictly avoids five ‘Forbidden Pungent Roots’ believed to distract minds with impure thoughts – garlic, green onion, leek, chive and onion.

Soil to Soul is located next to the Avenue of Stars at 704, 7/F, K11 MUSEA, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Hong Kong – operates daily from 12noon – 10pm with car parking at K11 MUSEA car park.
