ÉCRITURE INTRODUCES A 2-MICHELIN-STARRED DELIVERY EXPERIENCE TO ENJOY IN THE COMFORTS OF YOUR HOME
Following the recent launch of the Tribute To French Producers dine-in menu, ÉCRITURE by Le Comptoir now introduces a new 2-Michelin-starred takeaway experience unlike any other, “Écriture a la Maison”, which highlights hand-selected premium ingredients from France. Elevate your home dining ritual with a specially curated takeaway menu by Executive Chef Maxime Gilbert, known for his classical French culinary style with modern twists.
Écriture a la Maison Experience
With careful consideration of the current environment, Écriture presents a new gourmet takeaway menu designed to enjoy in the comforts of home. The a la carte-style only menu features some of Chef Maxime’s finest signature entrees such as the seasonal Pertuis Asparagus (HK$298) braised with seawater and served with cured John Dory in beef cecina; the signature Caviar and Uni Tart (HK$998 for 2 people, HK$1998 for 4 people) with Schrenckii sturgeon caviar from Royal Caviar Club in buckwheat tart shell, Japanese sea urchin and beurre blanc; Pate en Croute (HK$298) of Madame Burgaud duck and foie gras with a side of herbs salad; and Wagyu Beef Sando (HK$888) created with homemade bread and served with spicy tomato sauce.
From the meat and seafood category, choose from Brittany Blue Lobster (HK$750) served as a fricassee with vin jaune, green asparagus from Provence and Noir Mutier potatoes; 12-hours confit Pyrenees Lamb Shoulder (HK$750) with dauphinois gratin, perfect for 2-4 persons to share; oven-roasted Bresse Chicken (HK$998) served with truffled mashed potatoes; and Plouneour Menez Pigeon (HK$400) complemented by grilled maitake mushroom and raspberries. Add an order of Chef Maxime’s freshly baked Sourdough Bread (HK$110), which comes with a block of salted Bordier butter.
Finish an exquisite home meal with your choice of dessert, including Chef Maxime’s interpretation of Kouign-Amann (HK$70), a sweet and flaky layered pastry native to Brittany; a Classic French Flan (HK$70) served with Madagascan vanilla; and French Gariguette (HK$90) strawberry tart with crème legere.
“During these especially challenging time for restaurants, we decided to come up with a way to continue doing what we love while also making our valued customers feel at as much ease as possible,” says Chef Maxime Gilbert. “We never considered takeaway before this pandemic, but we are learning to adapt and try new things to overcome this pandemic together.”
