Vegetarian kitchen esca is excited to announce the relaunch of its well-loved Salted Egg Parmesan Custard Lava Mooncake for the Mid-Autumn Festival season. Perfect for those looking for a healthier alternative to traditional mooncakes, esca’s delightful creation is 100 percent vegetarian and preservative-free without compromising on flavours.  esca‘s mooncakes are also tastefully packaged in well-designed paper boxes without any plastic packaging, making it a wonderful eco-friendly gift option for your loved ones.

Born in 2019, the esca Salted Egg Parmesan Custard Lava Mooncake was created when the team decided to develop a vegetarian mooncake recipe to offer a more natural and preservative-free option to its customers. Using a selection of fine ingredients including vegetarian parmesan, coconut milk, vanilla bean paste, and Japanese eggs, the first editions of the Salted Parmesan Custard Lava Mooncake were produced in limited edition batches to spread joy amongst esca’s valued customers who share the same passion for good vegetarian delights. Humbled by the phenomenal feedback, esca is excited to bring back its Salted Egg Parmesan Custard Lava Mooncake to the market this season.

素食主義工坊esca欣然宣佈於中秋節再度推出備受歡迎的流心鹹蛋巴馬臣芝奶皇月餅。口味出眾的esca月餅為百分百素食,不含防腐劑,絕為美味不亞於傳統月餅又更健康的選擇。另外,月餅的紙盒設計精美,且不包含塑膠包裝,是這中秋既美味又環保的送禮佳品。

esca流心鹹蛋巴馬臣芝士奶皇月餅首創於2019年,當時團隊本著為顧客提供更天然且不含防腐劑的選擇的忠旨研發素食月餅。首批限量版流心鹹蛋巴馬臣芝士奶皇月餅採用上乘的食材包括素食巴馬臣芝士、椰奶、雲呢拿醬及日本雞蛋,與對精緻素食同樣充滿熱情的尊貴esca顧客一同分享喜悅。鑑於上年度月餅面世後反應熱烈,故此esca很高興於今年中秋再度推出流心鹹蛋巴馬臣芝士奶皇月餅,公諸同好。

100 percent Vegetarian and Preservative Free

Unlike traditional mooncakes that are made with lard, preservatives, red bean or lotus seed paste, and salted egg yolk, esca’s mooncake is 100 percent vegetarian, preservative-free and handmade with only the finest natural ingredients. The distinct flavour profile is composed of three different layers: a molten salted egg yolk centre, a creamy layer of vegetarian parmesan and coconut milk custard, and lastly, a buttery vanilla pastry crust. The rich salted egg flavour travels through the filling and custard layer, while the vegetarian parmesan adds a boost of umami, and contrasts well with the sweet and fragrant vanilla bean in the pastry.

As the mooncakes contain no preservatives, the shelf life will be two weeks when stored in the refrigerator. To enjoy the mooncakes, we recommend reheating them for six minutes in a 160 degree Celsius oven, or leaving them at room temperature for one hour before consumption.

百分百素食及無添加

esca的月餅為百分百素食,不含防腐劑,只採用最優質的天然材料製成,有別於一般以豬油、防腐劑、紅豆或蓮蓉及鹹蛋黃製成的傳統月餅。獨特的口感來自三層豐富的餡料:融化的鹹蛋流心、幼滑的素食巴馬臣芝士混合椰奶奶皇,及充滿牛油與雲尼拿香味的餅皮,令人食指大動。濃郁的鹹蛋流心與奶皇餡料相輔相成,而素食巴馬臣芝士的鹹香與香甜的雲尼拿牛油餅皮形成鮮明的對比,完美演繹素食月餅的頂級美味。

月餅不含防腐劑,可冷藏保存兩星期,建議於食用前在攝氏一百六十度的焗爐加熱六分鐘,或於室溫存放一小時,以將月餅的口感及味道提昇至極緻。

Dedicated to minimizing unnecessary waste and maintaining the company’s eco-friendly philosophy, esca invested in biodegradable packaging materials this season.  All mooncakes will be packaged in paper boxes without any plastic wrappings, making it the perfect gift idea for the eco-conscious.
