alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet continues its international expansion, debuting its first international free-standing store in partnership with ImagineX. Situated in the prestigious ifc mall in Central, Hong Kong, the 800 square foot store opened its doors on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013. alice + olivia and Imaginex announced earlier this month plans to open 23 points of distribution through free-standing stores and shop-in-shops in greater China, Taiwan, and Singapore in the next five years.

Nicknamed ‘The Jewel Box’, this new boutique displays an elegant juxtaposition of pared-down modernity and sumptuous art deco adornment. Glossy black + white check marble flooring, accents of bold blue seating, beautiful brass detailing, and a signature color-blocking wall graphic created by Stacey Bendet enforce the aesthetic of the store – a base of black + white with pops of color and embellishment. Overall, the design of the shop is infused with an eclectic style, accenting the seasonal collections while allowing customers to experience the shop in an exciting way.

Stacey Bendet, the brand’s Founder, Creative Director, and CEO said of the boutique, “The inspiration is the alice + olivia aesthetic – our stores are a mix of modern and vintage in an unexpected way!”

As a flirty, sophisticated fashion and lifestyle brand, the store houses not only the brand’s namesake ready-to-wear, gown, footwear and new handbag collections, but also a curated selection of unique vintage collectibles personally selected by Stacey Bendet, as well as Dylan’s Candy Bar treats, Lele Sadoughi jewelry, Lulu Frost by Lisa Salzer jewelry, and Top Secret lingerie.

With such a diverse array of offerings, this uniquely designed boutique is built to pamper customers from head to toe – ‘The Jewel Box’ truly embodies every girl’s dream closet.
