Unraveling the brand new Thai vegetarian concept at the city’s hidden culinary gem

image002Diners are getting more health-conscious about their diets and are constantly looking for healthy food options, even for a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day. In view of this, Thai Pad launches a vegetarian menu priced at HK$380 for 2 persons, featuring a delightful starter Heart-Shaped Salmon Tartare and Salad with Vinegar, where vegetarian salmon is served on diced avocado that is slightly tossed in mayonnaise and lemon juice. A heart-warming, exotic Tom Yum Goong soup with asparagus and soy prawns comes afterwards, fusing a refreshing crunchiness with the creamy soup base and bringing you warm spices to brave the winter cold. Diners can then choose from two tantalising main courses – Curry Lamb served with Fresh Naan Bread or the oriental specialty, Grilled Eel in Teriyaki Sauce. The meal concludes with the Thai classic, Trio Mango Sticky Rice, a sweet indulgence for the lovebirds, with coffee or tea to follow.

All dishes are specially created by CHANJAI Dusit, head chef of Thai Pad with Chiang Mai roots, who has dedicated over 30 years to mastering the craft of authentic Thai cooking.
