Tour the hallowed Ryogoku Kokugikan arena and take in gripping matches in the company of a sumo sports writer and announcer during one of three annual tournaments (January, May and September), or go behind-the-scenes of a sumo wrestling stable and lunch with the wrestlers during the off-season, the two weeks leading up to each sumo tournament. The Grappling Tokyo experiences covers tournament season and off-season, both packages include two nights of accommodation inclusive of daily breakfast, where suite bookings are entitled to Club Lounge privileges, Sumo sports broadcaster as your personal guide as well as an accompanying translator.
Tournament season experience encompasses private transportation to & from the Kokugikan sumo stadium and a guided tour of the Kokugikan stadium and museum as well as two tickets to the day’s sumo wrestling tournament. Shifting to the off-season, the experience will integrate private transportation to and from the sumo wrestling stable, a viewing of the morning’s wrestling practice and lunch and picture-taking with the sumo wrestlers.
