Unveiled in a spectacular diamond version in 2014, the Emerald Signature stages a comeback in 2021 with blue sapphires, a cherished color at the House of Harry Winston. In honor of Mr. Winston’s preference for emerald-cut gemstones, the cases of these high jewelry models trace the elegant eight-sided silhouette of this cut. Designed for fashion-conscious people who enjoy versatile jewelry and are not afraid to add some high-voltage sparkle into their daily lives, the Emerald Signature is a secret waiting to be discovered.
Mr. Winston’s distinctive diamond-driven jewelry style radically changed the high jewelry scene in America. His preference for the sophisticated emerald cut, and colors, like the fascinating blue of his legendary Hope Diamond, would become signature codes of his jewelry empire. The Emerald Signature distils these codes with the characteristic flair for exuberance associated with the House of Harry Winston.
A PRECIOUS SECRET
This magnificent piece of high jewelry is, in fact, a secret watch that reveals its mother-of-pearl dial when the top part of the case is gently pivoted to the left. Another secret of the Emerald Signature lies in its unique, versatile design, which allows it to be worn as a timepiece, a brooch or even a pendant. The all-diamond version of the Emerald Signature was unveiled in 2014, a stunning creation in the High Jewelry Timepieces collection that underscores the geometry of the emerald cut. Crafted in 18-karat white gold, the Emerald Signature is built like a pyramid with seven octagonal steps set with 302 brilliant-cut diamonds and crowned with a dazzling emerald-cut diamond.
THE HOPE DIAMOND
Known throughout his lifetime as “The King of Diamonds,” Mr. Winston’s incomparable eye for beauty, quality and rarity led him to the acquisition of the legendary 45.52 carat rare blue Hope Diamond in 1949. Since then, the color blue has become a treasured color at the House of Harry Winston.
In honor of the founder’s rich legacy, two new Emerald Signature models with blue sapphires are unveiled in 2021. Identical to the all-diamond model, the Sapphire models embellish the case’s emerald-cut style with alternating rows of brilliant-cut diamonds and a medley of brilliant-cut blue sapphires in different shades. The darker model, crowned with an intense deep blue emerald-cut sapphire, is set with 122 diamonds and 181 blue sapphires. The second Sapphire model plays with a lighter color palette and highlights the silhouette of its case with a beautiful emerald-cut blue sapphire, 144 diamonds and 158 blue sapphires. Both models feature a lovely iridescent white mother-of-pearl dial.
Designed to be enjoyed and treasured for a lifetime, the Emerald Signature timepiece is equipped with a precision Swiss quartz movement for carefree maintenance and is water-resistant to 30 meters. All three models come with a satin strap with an 18-karat white gold buckle set with 29 brilliant-cut diamonds – black for the all-diamond version, dark blue for the Dark Blue Sapphire model and light blue for the Light Blue Sapphire model. Given the convertible, highly versatile nature of the Emerald Signature, the timepieces come with an 18-karat white gold chain set with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds and an additional satin strap.
