Nestled on the tip of Giudecca Island, Hotel Cipriani boasts panoramic views of the Venetian Lagoon and a serene atmosphere moments from St Mark’s Square. The property has long been a magnet for artists, tastemakers, and global luminaries. With Peter Marino’s creative direction, the renovation captures the spirit of three artistic eras—Old Venice, Mid-century Dolce Vita, and Contemporary Art & Design—to infuse the hotel with a renewed sense of cultural sophistication.
Marino, who also chairs the Venetian Heritage Foundation, draws on Venice’s opulent history and artistic legacy to reimagine the property as a collector’s sanctuary—where art, architecture, and history live in harmony.
The First Reveal: A Taste of What’s to Come
Phase one of the renovation unveils a brand-new light-filled, double-height arrival lobby and the redesign of 13 rooms, including two master suites—Serenissima and Laguna—that channel the feel of private Venetian apartments. Eleven additional suites and junior suites offer garden or lagoon views and a refined take on comfort and craftsmanship.
