Guests are invited to experience a tropical culinary journey, ‘Coconut Hong Kong Story’ featuring an array of unique menu items from now until 31 July 2020.

Best known for its coconut flavoured confectionery since 1915, Yan Chim Kee was founded by Mr. Yan Lung-lap, whose nickname was “Ah Chim”. The local legacy brand strives to uphold its mission to share the heritage behind its traditional flavours to future generations.
Featuring an array of sweet and savory creations with a dash of coconut flavour, Hotel ICON brings Yan Chim Kee’s classic flavours to life with innovative recipes. Taking inspiration from the brand’s longstanding heritage and history, The Market at Hotel ICON lends itself to a retro vibe and allows guests to indulge in the ‘Coconut Hong Kong Story’.
Highlights on the exclusive coconut menu include the crunchy Tropical Coconut Crusted Chicken Tenders and aromatic Sayur Godog (Betawi Vegetables in Coconut Milk). For soup lovers, be sure to enjoy the delightful Tom Kha Gai (Thai Spicy and Sour Coconut Soup with Chicken) or Laksa Lemak to refresh the taste buds.
Promising to end the meal with a sweet note, Hotel ICON’s renowned Executive Pastry Chef Danny Ho specifically designed a coconut dessert menu using Yan Chim Kee’s confectionery. Rather than using sugar, the brand’s signature candies are infused into the dessert items to enhance the rich sweetness of each dish. The Coconut Mango Macaron, Coconut Sago Pudding, Coconut Pudding, and Durian Coconut Candy Ice Cream are just some of the delectable options for diners to satisfy their sweet tooth. Spend a remarkable Father’s Day at the Silverbox Ballroom
Just in time for Father’s Day on 21 June this year, The Market’s award-winning international buffet is ready to welcome all foodie fathers with the ideal brunch experience and international gourmet selections at the Silverbox ballroom. A wide variety of savoury dishes including the Crispy Fried Fresh Shrimp with Shredded Coconut and Malaysian Beef Rendangfrom the ‘Coconut Hong Kong Story’ menu will be available at all buffet sessions over the Father’s Day weekend.
International cuisines will also be served featuring all-time favourites such as savoury Korean Barbecued Beef Short Ribs, Indian Fish Koliwada, Singaporean Chicken Curry, and Sichuan Style Poached Sole Fillet, along with a chilled seafood section with Boston Lobster and Alaskan Crab Leg. Exclusively available at the dinner sessions during Father’s Day weekend, the Teppanyaki station with Pan-fried Goose Liver with Balsamic Glaze and the indulgent Caviar with Crab Meat Salad on Toast are some of the not-to-be-missed highlights.
