New York’s Iconic Burger, Hot Dog and Frozen Custard Stand stand, Shake Shack, who will be opening its first location on Lantau Island!
Hong Kongers on the lookout will spot the new Shake Shack hoarding at Citygate in Tung Chung going up today, a prime destination for anyone seeking a spot of adventure. The modern-day “roadside” burger stand will occupy a 3,921 square feet space with indoor and outdoor seating for 129 guests and it is the first Shack in Hong Kong where furry friends are invited to join in the fun!
To mark the brand’s seventh location in the 852, Shake Shack engaged local artist Bo Law to create a unique #Shackventure hoarding artwork inspired by the classic Flying Chess board game. Law, who specializes in compressed line art and wall painting, brings the artwork to life by taking reference from the chess pieces used in the game. His bold, colorful and whimsical artwork also reimagines the diverse community and culture surrounding Citygate and beyond, inviting everyone from the local community to come and gather at the Shack.
Adventurers also have the chance to win a meal for two at the new Shack when open! To enter Hong Kongers simply need to follow @ShakeShackHongKong, share on IG or FB a photo of themselves and the artwork using the hashtag #Shackventure. Winners of the 10 most adventurous photos submitted will receive a skip-the-line pass and a complimentary meal for two at the Citygate Shack.
