Inspired by diverse cultures worldwide and embodied by its fearless mascot, MAYA the spirited bird companion, this bakery represents curiosity, adventure, and mindful living.

MAYA offers a refreshing alternative to Hong Kong’s fast-paced food culture, focusing on delivering vegan and plant-based pastries as daily guilt-free pleasures. By encouraging individuals to be mindful of their consumption and embrace conscious vegan choices, MAYA aims to cultivate togetherness and community while celebrating inclusivity and sustainable living. The bakery believes in making choices that are gentle on the planet, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.

Guests at MAYA can indulge in a delicious array of pastries that align with their authentic values of veganism, sustainability. Crafted with natural and high-quality ingredients, these pastries emphasise original flavours and textures, steering clear of processed vegan food containing additives and artificial flavours. Signature offerings include the Vegan Egg Tart (HK$18), Pandan Pineapple Bun (HK$22) and Pistachio Croissant (HK$26), exemplifying MAYA’s commitment to providing wholesome and delightful delights.

In addition to a wide selection of pastries, MAYA offers fermented foods from its sister brand, Cultured. This unique integration allows customers to relish freshly baked pastries while enjoying the nutritional benefits of fermented ingredients. The inclusion of Cultured’s signature cream cheeze adds a tantalising flavour to the pastries, promoting a healthy gut. Fermented foods with probiotics contribute to digestive well-being, boost the immune-system, and enhance overall vitality. Notable items include the Mushroom Fermented Truffle Cream Cheeze Sourdough (HK$68) and Cream Cheeze with Bagel or Toast combo (HK$30 each).

At MAYA, guests can pair conscious treats with equally mindful coffees and drinks from the bar. The menu offers unique sips like Espresso Kombucha (HK$58), a fermented drink that promotes gut health, as well as the Black Sugar Latte (HK$40), alongside favourites such as Espresso (HK$25), Americano (HK$35), and Cappuccino (HK$40). Guests can choose from a range of plant based milk without any extra charge.  Non-coffee options include Chocolate (HK$50), fresh juices (HK$35), a range of teas (starting from HK$55) , and smoothies in two flavours: Power Berry and Mango Mania (HK$68).

For those seeking a stronger libation, MAYA serves up invigorating and refreshing drinks, perfect for unwinding after work. Indulge in the Honeybee Gin Tea (HK$88) or embark on a unique adventure with the  Coriander Blast (HK$98) kombucha cocktail skillfully crafted with passion fruit, turmeric, green kombucha and a hint of coriander. Classic cocktails like the Negroni (HK$88) are also available, prepared to perfection with a vegan twist. Conscious indulgence is further supported by a carefully curated list of alcoholic beverages, which includes cocktails, craft beers, and organic wines that perfectly complement the fermented cheeze  platter (HK$130) or crispy roasted chickpeas (HK$40).

MAYA also introduces the Morning Bakery Set, designed to offer a delightful start to the day. Guests who choose any pastries, scones, or bagels can add on HK$20 for a choice of coffee or tea, creating the perfect morning experience.
