Jimmy Choo with Glamorous Dual Gender Store

Jimmy Choo celebrated the opening of its dual gender boutique at the ifc mall, a prestigious retail center deemed a favorite among shopping aficionados. The latest installment is among the first in the world to house men’s and women’s collections under the same roof, and attracted many of the city’s fashionistas and sophisticates.

This marks Jimmy Choo’s sixth retail space in the city within a short period, and reinforces the brand’s commitment to Asia and Hong Kong with a continuing aggressive expansion plan. It was only fitting, then, that the launch of this new store attracted some of the most flamboyant stylistas in Hong Kong. The energy of the party flourished as Jimmy Choo enthusiasts Shu Qi and Anthony Wong, and celebrity guests Simon Yam, Qiqi, Wyman Wong, Cissy Wang, Irene Wang, Amanda S., Ana R., Janet Ma, Jocelyn Luko, Balia Chan, Carl Ng and acclaimed image stylist Zing raised their glasses and toasted to this momentous event.

VIP guests continued their exhilarating evening for a sumptuous meal. The venue, graced with spectacular views of Victoria Harbour, was transformed into a gentlemen’s club for the evening, and oozed a refined ambience with a hint of the 1960s Mayfair Playboy. The poker table and slot machine by the gaming area enticed guests to try their luck with their hand of branded playing cards and chips. Leather sofas and a cowhide rug by the lounge area added a touch of dapper to the contemporary men’s playground as a tribute to the latest men’s collection from Jimmy Choo.

Indeed, the dining area was designed with the latest men’s collection in mind, and thus exuded a modernistic, lively ambience. Five tantalizing concoctions were prepared to complement the dishes, drawing inspiration from the latest Jimmy Choo collection. Elements of caviar, air, foam and smoke were infused into the cocktails that left guests enthralled with an overall heightened gastronomic experience. To conclude the evening, guests unwound and enjoyed the refined elegance reflected in Jimmy Choo’s designs and the atmosphere of the special evening where euphoric jams were spun.

To mark this prestigious occasion of the first dual gender store in Hong Kong, a limited edition version of the signature SLOANE evening slipper has been created.  The decadent style is crafted from opulent black velvet and adorned with an oversize gold embroidered scorpion, which has become a signature for the Jimmy Choo men’s collection. The limited edition slipper will be available exclusively from the IFC store.
