JOYCE Beauty Returns with a New Look at Pacific Place

A Perfect Blend of Modern Elegance and Nostalgic Charm Offering a Relaxing and Exclusive Shopping Experience

JOYCE Beauty, an ultimate luxury beauty destination in Hong Kong, today announced the official reopening of its flagship store at Pacific Place, Admiralty. With a refreshed and conceptual design, the flagship store incorporates a home-inspired theme and seamlessly blends modern elegance with nostalgic elements, aiming to provide customers with a relaxing and comfortable shopping experience.

Since its establishment in 1990s, JOYCE Beauty has introduced numerous pioneering, cutting-edge beauty brands to Hong Kong, contributing to the development of the local beauty industry. The newly renovated flagship store draws design inspiration from the close connection between the brand and Hong Kong, integrating elements of 1960s tenement buildings with green mosaic tiles for display shelves and creatively transforming an abacus and Chinese apothecary cabinets into unique display tables, showcasing the rich cultural characteristics of the city.

With spacious area of nearly 1,000 square feet, the flagship store at Pacific Place was designed by Jaycee Chui and Justin Bridgland, the founders of MDO. Jaycee Chui is a registered architect and interior designer certified by the Architects Registration Board in the United Kingdom, while Justin Bridgland is a musician and chartered architect accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects. With extensive years of experience in London, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, their designs have received numerous international accolades, including the World Interior News Awards, A’Design Awards, and the MUSE Design Awards.

MDO’s design approach revolves around delving into the emotional impact created by spatial arrangements and designs, combining their unique backgrounds and expertise to naturally incorporate diverse cultural heritage into different projects. In addition, MDO is dedicated to exploring the interactive relationships between space and scale, proportion, details, materials, lighting, and shadow, bringing distinctive hues and shades to each project.
