La Viña launches brand new store in the World Trade Centre

A winner of Lifestyle Asia’s 2021 #MMMs Awards “Best Pastry” award, La Viña is a Spanish bakery that serves rustic cakes and pastries passed down through generations. With roots in San Sebastián, La Viña is the first and only establishment in Hong Kong that dishes out the original Basque Burnt Cheesecake recipe. Customisable cakes and deliciously flaky pastries are also on offer—all freshly baked everyday.

Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, La Viña’s World Trade Centre branch is a relaxing destination for guests to enjoy the ranges of baked goods, and have a taste of the newest a la carte menu items alongside artisanal coffees and teas. The new location provides ample space for patrons to wind down with a delicious treat at any time of the day.

Patrons can also head to La Viña’s newly-renovated flagship store on Graham Street, Central to enjoy a wide range of products for dine-in or takeaway.

La Viña’s signature Basque Burnt Cheesecake (from HK$52) reproduces the original recipe from San Sebastián, which is renowned for its caramelised crust and creamy interior. This decadent treat is available in three different sizes (3”/6”/8”), for customers to enjoy on any occasion. To keep things fresh, La Viña launches its cheesecakes in seasonal flavours, experimenting with an array of ingredients to create new presentations of the now-iconic cheesecake.

La Viña has also launched a new range of petite desserts and whole cakes made fresh on-site using bespoke European pâtisserie methods, with a selection of the world’s finest ingredients, from French chocolate and flour, to Japanese fruits. Satisfy your coffee cravings with the Tiramisu Cup (HK$58, HK$408/6”), which infuses Cupping Room’s lightly acidic house blend with mascarpone and chocolate between layers of coffee-soaked lady finger biscuits. Tea lovers can indulge in the Uji Matcha Red Bean Cream Cake (HK$45/slice, HK$388/whole), which boasts several layers of matcha sponge between earthy layers of red bean icing, with marbled white chocolate for a sweet contrast. La Viña’s abundant cake options cater to the diverse tastes of all, and can be ordered in custom sizes.

For those in search of lighter indulgences, La Viña also offers a wide selection of pastries. Sweet options include the Coconut Buttercream Croissant (HK$42), the warm Cinnamon Bun (HK$42) which is served with a tangy cream cheese dip, the Chocolate Orange Danish (HK$38), and much more.
