Leading Nation Expands APAC Presence with New Dining Concepts and Experiences

Hong Kong’s dynamic hospitality group, Leading Nation, continues its ambitious expansion across Asia-Pacific, unveiling new dining experiences in Hong Kong and a flagship café in Jakarta.

At Forty-Five in LANDMARK, two new Japanese dining concepts are set to elevate Hong Kong’s culinary scene. Sushi Mamoru, helmed by Chef Chiba Hirofumi, offers a refined, seasonal sushi experience centred around an intimate Hinoki wood counter, while Torikaze, an offshoot of Tokyo’s famed Torishiki by Chef Yoshiteru Ikegawa, will bring Michelin-level yakitori to Hong Kong this September.

Meanwhile, Elephant Grounds opens its flagship Jakarta Roastery, expanding its beloved “Coffee n Chill” lifestyle café concept. The new venue combines a full-service restaurant, bakery, listening bar, and even a padel court, reinforcing the brand’s community-driven ethos and sustainable coffee-sourcing initiatives from East Java.

Looking ahead, Leading Nation is developing a rooftop bar and pool concept at the highly anticipated Kimpton Hong Kong (Q4 2025), designed with Steve Leung Design Group, featuring a private Braun Audio listening room. Additionally, a collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Vicky Lau will debut JĪJĀ, a modern Chinese bistro-teahouse concept offering lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.

Founded in 2016, Leading Nation continues to push boundaries in hospitality, with a portfolio including Elephant Grounds, The Diplomat, and Forty-Five, and new openings planned for Singapore and Jakarta.
