Lee Gardens Skateboard Fest 2022

A piece of cut wood mounted on four wheels. Then, kick, push and coast away. Cruise on a board through city streets and fluidly roam around our town. This is the moment you feel airborne. Skateboarding is not only an activity that defines urban cool but also a sport that tests one’s body balance, creativity, technical expertise and ability to perform challenging stunts. Since last year, skateboarding has been included in the Olympics, the biggest international sporting events for the first time, and there has been a resurgence of skateboarding fever around the world, including in Hong Kong. In the Government’s recent Policy Address, it was mentioned that there are plans to promote several “urban sports” that are popular among young people, including skateboarding, and it is expected that this street sport will attract more attention and popularity in Hong Kong.

Lee Gardens Skateboard Fest 2022 will last for two days on 26 – 27 November (Saturday and Sunday), with myriads of activities to bring children and adults together to learn about skateboarding and street culture, including:
