Legendary Four-hand Menu by the Esteemed Celebrity Chef Duo Donovan Cooke and Roland Schuller

Savor the pinnacle of four-hand collaboration from 13 to 16 March 2024 as the culinary legend returns at the newly debuted Modern European restaurant DONOVAN in Causeway Bay. Jointly presented by the celebrated chef duo who crafted the fine dining scene in Hong Kong from early 2000s, “Chef Donovan Cooke & Roland Schuller Private Table” will preserve a lineup of chefs’ classic signatures with a hidden dish crafted by two masterminds to elevate the dining experience of Hong Kong discerning gourmands.

Homecoming by Donovan: From Melbourne to Causeway Bay

The British-born Chef Donovan Cooke was one of the instrumental figureheads in the fine dining scene in the early 2000s. Seasoned and nurtured by the legendary 2-Michelin-starred Chef Marco Pierre White for traditional French cuisine in his young age, Donovan’s started to gain his spotlight at the highly converted Harvey’s in London where he sharpened his edge in the fascinating world of gastronomy and culinary.

To embark on his curious global journey, his footprints in Australia had been recognized by multiple accolades from the national “The Aged Good Food Guide” for consecutive years, including 3-Hat and 1-Hat restaurants awards (equivalent to 3-starred and 1-starred Michelin status respectively) together with ‘Chef of The Year’ in 2003 and 2004. He also made appearances on TV reality show ‘MasterChef Australia’ with myriads of award-winning cookbook ‘Marriages’ published. In 2004, Donovan’s statement establishment – Derby Restaurant and Bar at the Hong Kong Jockey Club had won the hearts of many local socialists and celebrities with his dedication of innovation and new culinary excellence.

Homecoming to Hong Kong with pride in late 2023 for a brand-new restaurant under his name – DONOVAN, Chef Donovan Cooke wishes to bring back his delicate French-style classics to the city with affordable menus featuring the freshest and sustainable seasonal produce.
