MâmAmis: A Harmonious Overture of Vietnamese-French Flavours

MâmAmis opens its doors this August, following in the footsteps of sister restaurants, Chilli Fagara and Hot ‘N’ Meen. Celebrating the art of communal dining, MâmAmis forges a vibrant dining experience centred on its soulful curation of fragrant cocktails and authentic Vietnamese sharing plates that use fresh herbs injected with French culinary techniques.

Nestled in Sheung Wan, MâmAmis welcomes guests with its bright blend of modern French and Vietnamese countryside design. Surrounded by bright and airy windows, the interiors boast a vibrant ambience, accented by a captivating commissioned mural by a local artist.

The carefully curated menu showcases exquisite signature dishes, including the Wok-Fried Spicy Curry Crab (HK$688), Vietnamese Style Chicken Curry (HK$168), and the succulent 48-hour slow-cooked Beef Short Ribs “The BBR” (HK$368), created using its open-flame BBQ grill. For a personalised touch, MâmAmis also offers customisable varieties of soothing Phở (from HK$108), with a vegetarian option available. Notably, MâmAmis holds the distinction of being the only restaurant in Hong Kong to serve Vietnamese-style Beef Carpaccio (HK$258), a testament to its commitment to delivering unique and unforgettable dining experiences.

Guests at MâmAmis can also enjoy a selection of refreshing cocktails that pay a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Vietnamese jazz singer, Hong Thanh, crafted by Raphael Holzer from Fernet Hunter. The inviting selection strikes the perfect chord with the restaurant’s sumptuous fare, as it showcases the finest original Vietnamese spirits and beers infused with herbs and aromatics.

Walk-ins are recommended for lunch for parties with fewer than eight guests.
