Melody Unveils a Culinary Crescendo with its Christmas Menus & Prohibition NYE Party
Fresh off its grand opening in Sai Ying Pun, Melody—the multisensory House of Food and Music—is making waves and not just with its curated beats. Seamlessly blending hospitality with soul, passion, and a dash of rock ‘n roll flair, Melody announces its three festive menus and a debauched New Year’s Eve event, inviting guests to indulge in a symphony of flavours and music this holiday season.
Christmas Party Lunch (Nov 27 – Dec 23)
Whet your appetite with starters like the house-cured gravlax complemented by sweet mustard dressing, or the rich and flavourful Turkey Boudin blanc stuffed with cranberries and smoked ham. Main course options range from a delectable Roast crown of local duck with BBQ’d stuffing, honey-glazed parsnips and brussels sprouts,a tender 250g Rib eye steak with Koffman fries to a succulent Grilled seabass with hispi cabbage and fondant butternut squash. Finish off with the irresistibly rich sticky toffee pudding and traditional mince pies. This lunchtime treat is priced at HK$628 per person.
Christmas Party Dinner (Nov 27 – Dec 23)
To be shared with the table, delights such as soft-shell prawns with garlic and espelette butter, and chicory salad with salt baked beetroot await. For the main course, guests can opt for the Grilled seabass, crown of duck with barbecued stuffing, chestnut and leek tart, or the juicy 250g Rib eye steak, among others. This feast is priced at HK$788 per person. As a crowning touch, the creamy stilton cheese & mont d’or are available for an additional HK$50 per person.
Alternatively, upon request a traditional Christmas feast of a whole roast turkey with all the classic trimmings can be arranged for either lunch or dinner.
The Grand Finale: Christmas Day & Eve
A luxurious spread awaits, starting with fresh Crystal oysters flavoured with kalamansi granita and timut pepper, and the sumptuous Foie gras ballotine served with brioche. Main courses offer choices such as the Roast crown of Norfolk bronze turkey with all the festive trimmings, and the Rare roast rib of Aberdeen Angus beef. The pièce de résistance is the traditional Christmas pudding, drizzled with brandy butter and salted caramel. The set menu is offered at HK$988 per person and is available from 12-2.30pm and 6.30 – 9.30pm.
Each of these menus not only showcases the best of seasonal ingredients but also features dishes that are enhanced by the distinctive touch of the Josper Grill, ensuring that every meal is as memorable as it is delicious.
A Prohibition Party for New Year’s Eve
For New Year’s Eve, the team at Melody will be hosting a prohibition-themed night of clandestine revelry at their secret house of food and music. An all-night extravaganza spread throughout each room in the house, with dinner in the Dining Room and the Kitchen, prohibition drinks in the Bar Lounge and entertainment throughout provided by a stellar line up of Hong Kong’s best vinyl DJs, including Little John, DJ Brahms, Roy Malig and Melody’s own Music Director Johnny Hiller. In addition, a secret international DJ headliner will take the stage as the new year rolls in. A sharing menu featuring Chef Jamie Draper’s signature dishes plus free-flow Perrier Jouet Champagne and sommelier selected wines is priced at HK$1,580 per person.
