Mouawad’s New Boutique at the Peninsula Hotel ­

Mouawad forges ahead with its commitment to global expansion by opening its latest flagship boutique in Hong Kong on 1 June 2023. The boutique’s sophisticated décor in the brand’s signature grey and gold colors is strategically located on the ground floor of the five-star Peninsula Hotel, located on Nathan Road’s ‘Golden Mile’ in the heart of Kowloon. Patrons can look forward to a welcoming ambiance, innovative displays, and the highest levels of personalized service.

Since 1890, the Mouawad name has been defined by its artistic innovation, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to the art of fine jewelry and diamonds. The House of Mouawad is renowned for crafting exceptional diamonds from rough and providing a full transparent journey from origin to jewelry. Spanning five generations, Mouawad is a family business committed to its heritage while pushing the boundaries of artistic innovation. The new Mouawad boutique invites visitors to ‘unveil the extraordinary’ with its selection of immaculate diamonds and jewelry, brought in exclusively for the opening presentation, including a collection of vivid yellow diamonds known as the ‘Dragon Suite.’ Their latest signature collections are available at the boutique where the “Miss Universe Power of Unity Crown” is also on display. Mouawad has crafted seven Miss Universe Crowns since 2019. Each crown is designed to represent a message of hope and inspiration for humanity.

Also notable in their collection is ‘The Star of Stanley Ho, Grand Lisboa, Macau,’ named after Dr. Stanley Ho. Weighing 218.08-carats, it is the largest, flawless, cushion diamond in the world. His daughter Pansy Ho and granddaughter Beatrice Ho were both present at the opening.
In attendance was fourth-generation member, Fred Mouawad who came to Hong Kong to celebrate ‘more than a century of excellence.’ Other guests, including Mignonne Cheng, Michelle Cheng-Chan, Alan Chan, Eric Ho, Charmaine Ho, Mira Yeh, Denise Lo were also invited to celebrate this momentous occasion with an exclusive presentation of some of Mouawad’s finest and record-breaking pieces before a private dinner at the Peninsula’s Salisbury Room under a canopy of glittering chandeliers.
