Moxie Expands its All-Day Dining to Include Responsibly Sourced Meat Options And Launches Takeaway Concept SERVO

Moxie at LANDMARK Alexandra House has always served unpretentious, ingredient-driven dishes. Now, in response to customers’ dining preferences, the casual eatery is expanding its all-day dining menu of plant- and seafood-based offerings with new meat-based dishes. In addition, the restaurant will be launching a new takeaway coffee bar concept – SERVO – which will serve Australian-style coffees, sandwiches and other home-made pastries including the same Canelés that are renowned from Shane Osborn’s Michelin-starred Arcane.

Moxie’s Chef de Cuisine Michael Smith’s contemporary take on modern European flavours will be represented in a number of additional dishes including classic comfort Wagyu Burger served with potato fries, Crispy Chicken Schnitzel, and a beautifully marbled 7+ Mayura Wagyu Bavette prepared with a choice of two sides.

Michael Smith states: “We’re very proud to be at the forefront of healthy, conscious dining in Hong Kong with a huge focus on plant-forward dishes. As chefs though, we must stay open to our guests’ demands and will now include carefully sourced meat to our menu. For those who love our plant-forward approach, the dishes we have become known for over the years will remain!”

Also new at Moxie is SERVO, a takeaway concept and coffee counter located adjacent to the restaurant. Australian slang for ‘service station’ and typically found roadside across, ‘servos’ are a beloved part of Australian culture, especially adored for the everyday ease and convenience gathered in a single grab-and-go spot.

As such, SERVO’s selection of tea and coffee will be available for takeaway throughout the day, with the latter brewed especially by renowned local barista Kim Oelrichs. Originally from the Gold Coast, Oelrichs introduces a highly technical, personalised coffee program of roasting, blending, and brewing which she has mastered and honed over the years working with artisans at various cafes in her hometown, including a short stint in Europe training with coffee experts.

In addition, SERVO will be serving an extensive offering of takeaway food options including home-baked pastries, salads, and savoury bites, all prepared with Moxie’s staunch commitment to high-quality, seasonal ingredients. The new SERVO menu includes Arcane’s famous Canelés with a crispy crust, flavour-packed Bacon Butty with HP Sauce, and a selection of sandwiches that serve as light refreshments during the day — including Organic Irish smoked salmon with cucumber and avocado, yellowfin tuna melt with chilli mayonnaise and ruby beetroot and cashew hummus on toasted ciabatta.

Shane concludes: “In addition, we have expanded our all-day offer to a takeaway concept SERVO. ‘Servos’ have been a part of my upbringing, they form such a key cultural backbone to Australia, and I am thrilled to be putting a spin on them here in Hong Kong.”

Open from Monday-Sunday: Coffee and Pastries: 8am onwards; Lunch: 11.30 to 14.30; A La Carte: 11.30 to 22.00; Afternoon Tea: 15.00 to 17.00.
