Bespoke cakeshop showcasing renowned treats on October 17-18

Bespoke cakeshop Ms B’s CAKERY is introducing its dessert treats at the popular PMQ Night Market for Hong Kong’s best-loved small businesses.

Visionary Creative Director and Founder Bonnae Gokson has announced Ms B’s participation in the market on both Friday 17 October and Saturday 18 October.

PMQ Night Market bringsHong Kong’s creative food vendors, designers, musicians, artists & craftspeople together on occasional weekend evenings at heritage building PMQat35 Aberdeen Street, Central.

“The gathering of ‘small is beautiful’ traders is proving increasingly popular and we are delighted to become part of it,” said Ms.Gokson.

Ms B’s CAKERY is showcasing a range of signature creations from its Gough Street cakeshop – including taster-size versions of its ten most popular cakes.

Also presented are sweet cups, including sugar-free versions, and sugar-free cookies – both forgoing regular sugar for a healthy sugar substitute from Germany made from natural beets with low glycemic and insulin levels, especially recommended for weight-watchers and diabetics.

Ms B’s irresistible treats extend tohandmade chocolate sweets, from Raspberry Jelly Bon Bons and Dark or Chilli Chocolate Coffee Beans to White Chocolate Cranberry Coffee Beans and Milk / Dark Chocolate Hearts and ‘Pizzas’ with jelly gummies.

Ms. Gokson promises Ms B’s booth will be decorated in her charming trademark style “with love and care”.

Admission is free to the next PMQ Night Market, organised by the Hong Kong Markets Organisation, an independent social enterprise “committed to promoting the best of Hong Kong” – from fresh produce grown by organic farmers and handcrafts made by local artisans to best local brands and bands.

“We seek to educate and inspire with quality products, and allow people to rediscover the joy in market-going,” says the HKMO.

The popularity of Ms.Gokson’s cakes originated at her ultra-glam restaurant and rendezvous SEVVA.

Since opening Ms B’s CAKERY on Gough Street, Central, she has earned international recognition in ‘The New Pâtissiers’  – applauded as “world class” among 38 of the world’s top confectioners and cake makers.

Ms. Gokson was also crowned ‘Asia’s Queen of Confectionery’ by America’s wedding planner to the stars, Colin Cowie.Her designs are showcased in a coffee-table cake book ‘Butterflies and All Things Sweet’.

The Story of Ms B’s Cakes’ hascollected top prize in Photography / Art category of the annual Paris Book Awards honoring the best of international publishing, as well as theSilver winner in the Coffee Table Book category at the IPBA Benjamin Franklin Awards 2014. It has also won the “Best Graphic Design”in 2014 Sydney Design Award.
