New York’s Iconic Sandwiches and Burgers, Reimagined at The Lobby Lounge, Regent Hong Kong
The Lobby Lounge at Regent Hong Kong invites guests to rediscover the spirit of New York, thoughtfully reimagined through a lens of quiet refinement. Set against the cinematic sweep of Victoria Harbour, the experience unfolds as an elegant dialogue between New York’s timeless nostalgia and the understated sophistication that defines Regent.
A cherished signature of The Lobby Lounge, its sandwiches and burgers are celebrated for quality ingredients, harmonious balance, and enduring appeal. This season, these familiar favourites are revisited with a renewed sensibility — inspired by the character and rhythm of New York yet grounded in the serene beauty of Hong Kong’s iconic harbourfront.
Among them, the Mayura Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich (HKD 338) pays homage to the city’s storied delicatessen tradition. Emerging from late 19th-century immigrant culture, this iconic creation rose to prominence alongside legendary establishments such as Katz’s Delicatessen, becoming a lasting symbol of New York’s rich multicultural tapestry. Today, pastrami on rye remains one of the city’s most enduring culinary emblems. At Regent Hong Kong, this classic is reimagined with Mayura Wagyu—slow-cured, delicately smoked, and hand-sliced to a supple tenderness. Layered within toasted rye, the pepper-crusted pastrami is balanced by sauerkraut and melted Swiss cheese, resulting in a composition that is at once robust and refined.

The new Regent Beef Burger (HKD 428) offers a more indulgent expression of the American classic, featuring Australian Wagyu, black truffle, foie gras, and a port wine onion compote, balanced with lettuce, tomato, and Pommery mustard.
Coastal lightness is found in the Lobster Bun (HKD 378), where Canadian lobster is complemented by green apple and celery. Other selections include the Tortilla Wrap (HKD 318) with Parma ham and mozzarella, and the Crab Club Sandwich (HKD 428), layered with snow crab, avocado, bacon, and lime mayonnaise.

From 1 July to 31 August, The Lobby Lounge presents a more complete summer experience with thoughtfully curated milkshake pairings, designed to harmonise texture, flavour and mood. Offered as a monthly trio, each selection features two seasonal creations alongside the signature Dark Silk Shake. All milkshakes are priced at HKD 168, with the following seasonal pairings:
