Look out for Elegant English Gentlemen around the ifc Mall and Central
It has been over 140 years since the doors of the first Penhaligon’s emporium opened on Jermyn Street in London. This quintessentially British perfumery with prestigious Royal Warrants from The Prince of Wales (1988) and The Duke of Edinburgh (1956) has opened a new location in Central’s ifc mall in November, 2013. The grand boutique is Penhaligon’s first-ever flagship store in Hong Kong.
To celebrate this new store opening, Penhaligon’s is sending English Gentlemen onto the walkways of Central to spread the messages of refinement, good manners and sartorial elegance. These handsome fellows will be dressed in classic English style and perform acts of chivalry and kindness, raising their bowler hats, holding doors for laden shoppers and offering umbrellas from the rain. They will also be distributing The Penhaligon’s Guide to Gentlemanly Behaviour, an essential and comical guide to fine manners and decorum as well as directing customers to the new store.
Look out for the Gents on 21st, 22nd and 23rd November, in and around ifc and Central walkways. Tell us where and what they are doing, or what you think a gentleman should do for a chance to win a full range of Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet products!
