PORTS Love the Past…Embrace the Future

The PORTS 60th anniversary capsule collection begins with its founder Luke Tanabe, whose lasting legacy was the idea of the urban wanderer who dreamed of “breakfast in the Sahara and dinner in New York.” Reflecting on past collections to propel the brand forward, this capsule takes a time travelling journey, embodying the title “Love the Past…Embrace the Future.”

Collaborating with global talent, the PORTS 60th anniversary capsule collection incorporates design work by famed artist Camilla Engström. Imagery of Engström’s signature spiral represents the eternal loop of time to which we continue to return to, for inspiration and renewal.

Pieces carry lightness, with colour, prints and details conveying playfulness. Recurring images of this collection’s time travelling mascots are Luke and Ruby, two charming robots affectionately named after the brand’s founding couple. Tops, bottoms and dresses are designed with a youthful spirit in mind, aiming to touch elements of each of PORTS’ unique brands.

The spirit of PORTS celebrates diversity, incorporating representation across age and culture into its style and presence. The brand remains timeless, taking classic silhouettes and reimagining them into modernity, with effervescence.
