Since its founding in 1898, RIMOWA has been committed to promoting the German tradition of excellence through its exquisite craftsmanship and partnerships with other prestigious German institutions. The brand is proud to announce its latest partnership with the German Football Association (Deutscher Fußball-Bund or DFB), which will continue this mission.
The long-term collaboration between RIMOWA and the DFB will see RIMOWA supporting the women’s, men’s, and U21 national teams of Germany in all of their competitions by providing custom-made luggage to accompany the teams on their travels.
Looking back over the past few decades, RIMOWA and the DFB have shared many precious memories together. RIMOWA has previously accompanied the German national team to the 2006 World Cup and the 2007 European U21 Football Championship in Sweden, and their partnership has continued uninterrupted over the past decade. In 2014, RIMOWA created a special series of luggage for the German players in preparation for the World Cup in Brazil, which witnessed their championship win. Today, as RIMOWA becomes the official luggage partner of the DFB for the next few years, their partnership takes on a new level.
The men’s and women’s national teams will be equipped with RIMOWA Original series silver cabin and Check-In L luggage, while the U21 national team will be provided with RIMOWA Essential series black cabin and Check-In L luggage. Like all RIMOWA products, the luggage prepared for the German national teams reflects the brand’s attention to detail, with each luggage adorned with the proud official eagle emblem of the German national team.
