Set to Open this Summer, Creo by Brentwood Empowers Local Creators at their Kowloon Bay and Kennedy Town Cafés

This summer, reignite your passion for everything local at Creo by Brentwood, Hong Kong’s newest coffee concept now open in Kowloon Bay and Kennedy Town.

Creo takes its name from the Latin word for “create” to represent the creations of each shop, from locally roasted coffee and homemade pastries to the creations of local artisans showcased and while the ethos of the original Brentwood brand in Ireland was to support local coffee farmers and roasters, Creo takes this philosophy further in Hong Kong by championing the 3 C’s: Craftsmanship, Community, and Connection.

Fueled by love and appreciation of local arts and culture, Creo inspires people to connect with local artists and artisans, while also sparking a desire to create a more conscious and sustainable environment for future generations. The works of launch partners HK Timberbank, a local timber recycling project, local artist Zoie Lam, and women-owned ceramics studio Lai Chan Kee, all play a part in Creo’s cafés, allowing customers to discover local talent from furniture to tableware.
For those looking for something other than coffee, Creo offers artisanal kombuchas that are available at both locations, featuring familiar local flavours such as Tangerine Peel Lemon Black Tea and Pear Lilyturf Root Green Tea. In addition, Creo Kennedy Town offers exclusive Hojicha and Genmaicha Lattes and a Summer Berry Smoothie as well as added yuzu jelly in their Yuzu Sodas and Yuzu Espresso Tonics, to help cool down from the scorching Hong Kong summers.
Three signature desserts are exclusively available at the Kowloon Bay location as well, which are sure to satisfy both the sweet tooth and the camera lens: Crystal Strawberry Cake Roll with a whole strawberry suspended in jelly, Torched Corn Rare Cheesecake that features corn prepared multiple ways for a textural surprise, and the Ovaltine Lava Tart with a Marshmallow Oasis that resembles a felled log in a colourful forest. Creo will also work with different local pastry artists throughout the year, giving guests a chance to discover new and original sweet treats every season.
To offer new dining experiences to its regulars, Creo Kennedy Town will also be changing dishes on their casual dining menu with the seasons. Currently, Creo is fueling guests with light meals such as the energy-boosting Acai Bowl, enduring cafe classic Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast, and the Homemade Pesto Pasta, featuring a pesto sauce made fresh daily that guests can purchase for their home pantry.
