Buenos días Chiang Mai! The new Meliá Chiang Mai is adding a dash of Mediterranean flavour to Chiang Mai’s culinary scene with the launch of its buffet breakfast.
Designed by the hotel’s executive chef Suksant Chutinthratip (Billy), the breakfast menu at the hotel’s all-day-dining restaurant Laan Na Kitchen features Spanish, Mediterranean and Thai breakfast favorites.
As a highlight of the breakfast buffet stations, the show-cooking station serves the hotel’s signature breakfast selection including tortilla Española (Spanish omelette), shakshuka, ensaiimada, churros with chocolate dip, and much more. The station’s array of hot dishes includes freshly cooked eggs in any style, breakfast ham, bacon, sausage, potato gratin, waffles, pancakes and local staples such as hung lay pork curry, khao soi noodles and grilled egg in banana leaf.
Other stations range from a cold cut station offering the likes of beef pastrami, serrano ham, chorizo and smoked turkey, to a cheese selection of Manchego, Emmenthal, feta, goat’s cheese and more, as well as an extensive choice of freshly baked bread and pastries.
Priced at THB 756 nett per person, the buffet breakfast is available daily between 6.30am – 10.30am. As part of a special offer on weekdays from 2 May – 30 June 2022, the buffet is only THB 400 nett per person.
*Prices are inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
