TAV first Korean fashion-designer brand opened its boutique in Harbour City, the largest premier-retail hub in Hong Kong, showcasing the brand’s pervasive popularity and ever-growing potential.
Launched in Hong Kong in 2020, TAV was founded by creative director Nikki Lee, a Korean fashion designer experienced in working in the fashion industry in Hong Kong, Australia and South Korea. Within just one year since its debut, TAV quickly won the hearts of its fans around the world, including celebrities in South Korea and Hong Kong, and today continues to expand its fan base, particularly across Southeast Asia.
Along with the new store in Harbour City, TAV now boasts a total of four physical boutiques in Hong Kong. The brand’s first offline store was TAV’s showroom at PMQ, the icon of creativity and design in Hong Kong, opened with its debut Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Following positive responses from its clients, who love its “easily wearable, but elegant and formal” approach, TAV set-up two additional selling channels on Kowloon side — at K11 Select in K11 Art Mall and STORiES in K11 MUSEA.
The core ethos of TAV is “timeless design, sustainable fabrics”— expressing the brand’s vision to design and produce long-lasting fashion items that ultimately reduce indiscriminate clothing consumption. Being a brand born and grown in Hong Kong, which is the centre of a fast-changing environment, TAV is calling for a slow-fashion movement by providing Hong Kong and global customers quality designs, beyond being solely a premiere fashion brand.
