The City of Dreams entertainment concept in Macau consists of three hotels, One being “The Grand Hyatt” on the Cotai Strip. As I arrived, the enormous glass structure cladding of the hotel captures my imaginative pulse and walking through the lobby, I was amazed how high the ceilings in this hotel were. In the middle of it all, a rounded silver ball ornament with water flowing around it enriches the souls and captivate my senses and like all of it sister hotels creates a karma like feel.
Boasting 791 guestrooms, most are suite-style with separate living spaces classy & slick, The Grand Hyatt Macau demands attention. This hotel has everything. From great dining experience such as the beijing kitchen restaurant, apparently it has the best Peking duck in town to the beautiful resort style 40m outdoor heated lap pool. The water lounge is just fantastic for relaxation. Have your cocktails and still keep your feet cool and wet for the summer. For families with kids, no worries, they are not forgotten either with a dedicated toddlers pool and recreation space for them to enjoy. The poolside area is huge with a beautifully landscape garden and private cabanas, great place to have a wedding reception and party. Simply the pool and its surrounding area is stunning!
Breakfast at mezza9 was divine especially with kids around. I suggest a table close to the outdoor terrace so when your kids does get edgy, they can just romp around the garden area whilst you still have your breaky with the assistant of a lookout from a hotel staff.
For guests staying on club levels, The open kitchen serves complimentary breakfast, all day light refreshments and great cocktails in the evening. You’ll be surprised with the sheer size of this colossus club. I believe it is the biggest around the region.
Other recreational facilities to indulge yourself is the hotel’s gorgeous Isala Spa. It houses 15 private spa suites with six for couples. Designed in calming earth tones and natural materials, each spa suite features a private lounge area, rain-shower, vanity area and VIP foot massage room. All of it comes with complimentary Mor of Australian amenities.
Next time when you are in “Viva Macau”, a stay at The Grand Hyatt is a scintillating experience or just pop in for your Fine Dining experiences. Grand Hyatt Macau
