The Hari Hong Kong Launches Compelling Wan Chai By Night Experience

The Hari Hong Kong is casting Wan Chai — one of the city’s oldest and most eclectic districts — in a whole new light with its new ‘Best of Wan Chai at Night Tour – Explore Hong Kong like a Local’.

Teaming up with licensed guide and travel content creator @explore_hongkong, the hotel offers guests a private 2.5-hour evening adventure (starting at 5pm) uncovering the neighbourhood’s storied past, hidden corners, and cultural curiosities — with fascinating insights into Hong Kong’s Feng Shui traditions.

Highlights include:

  • Experiencing ‘Villain Hitting’, a unique form of Chinese folk sorcery.

  • Visiting a wet market, vibrant street markets, and a 140-year-old tea shop.

  • Sampling local snacks, crossing one of Hong Kong’s busiest streets, and riding the 100-year-old Ding Ding Tram.
