The Murray, Hong Kong and ALBION Skincare jointly present the “Enchanting Bloom” Afternoon Tea

Embrace the arrival of fall, guests are invited to Popinjays, The Murray, Hong Kong’s rooftop restaurant & bar to enjoy the sweeping views under the gentle autumn breeze, while savouring the “Enchanting Bloom” Afternoon Tea, jointly presented with the Japanese skincare brand ALBION. Popinjays’ chefs have prepared a series of exquisite savouries and sweets with an inspiration of ALBION’s newly launched cell-repairing serum – eclafutur t, infused with its exclusive Yumesaika extract.

The delighting sensual journey begins with a welcome treat – Peking Duck Bao. The fluffy steamed bun encases flavourful Peking style shredded duck, exuding a tantalising aroma that stimulates the appetite.

Chef de Cuisine, Paolo Tolleretti, has meticulously crafted a collection of savouries including Cauliflower Crème Brule, Smoked Salmon Tartare, the smoked salmon tartare is paired with smooth caramelised cauliflower Crème Brule. The Foie Gras Terrine, Pistachio, Cherry Jam has a harmonious combination of creamy foie gras mousse, sweet cherry jam and crushed pistachios. The Mortadella & Asparagus Roll, Brioche features a thinly sliced Bresaola wrapped around the asparagus on top of a crunchy brioche soft roll. The Crab Salad, Soft Bun, Tobiko is made with fresh crab meat salad served in a pink mini bun and topped with Tobiko. The aromatic Wild Mushroom Quiche, Stracciatella Foam is another irresistible treat with wild mushrooms and airy foam of Stracciatella.

Executive Pastry Chef, Frank Law has also crafted a series of sweet treats including the luscious Lychee White Chocolate Mousse, a silky white chocolate mousse infused with lychee aroma. The Pink Guava Mousse Sable in adorable pink mirror glaze is adorned with the ALBION’s “Yumesaika” floral pattern.

Inspired by the brand name of ALBION, as known as the “White Land” in England, the Key Lime Cheese Cake with refreshing taste in white mountain-shape has echoed with this magnificent white cliff. Other delights include the velvety Butterfly Pea Flower Mint Panna Cotta, refreshing Yuzu Lemon Tart, and aromatic Tahiti Vanilla Macaroon. The Matcha and Earl Grey Scones are also a must-have in the afternoon tea, as well as the individually served Shrimp Shu Mai with Salmon Roes in Dill Sauce.

For an additional HKD 158 per person, guests can elevate their experience with two jet-fresh oysters, Murray caviar with blinis and sour cream while pairing with a glass of R de Ruinart Brut Champagne, adding a touch of luxury to their afternoon tea enjoyment.
