Upper House Hong Kong Unveils New Wellness Residencies and the Return of House of Healing
Wellness has long been at the heart of the The Upper House Hong Kong experience. This season, the House introduces a new programme of immersive wellness offerings, centred around connection, balance and shared experience.
At the core of this initiative is the return of House of Healing, a two-day retreat taking place from 30 to 31 May 2026. Designed as a collective journey into restoration, the retreat brings together a curated line-up of wellness practitioners, therapies and group sessions that nurture both individual wellbeing and a deeper sense of community.
Spanning a full day of programming, guests are invited to move between experiences that range from restorative and meditative to energising and practical. Treatments such as acupuncture, posture consultations and red light therapy sit alongside more sensory-led practices including sound journeys, tea ceremonies and intuitive readings. Each session is designed to offer a moment of pause — an opportunity to reconnect, reset and engage with wellness in a more intentional way.

Beyond the retreat, the House continues to expand its offering through its #WellnessOnTheRoad experience, transforming guest rooms into private sanctuaries. In-room therapies allow guests to retreat into a more personal rhythm, whether through crystal and chakra alignment sessions or immersive sound healing journeys designed to ease tension and support deep rest.
This shift towards highly personalised wellness reflects a broader movement within luxury hospitality — where the emphasis moves from scheduled activities to tailored experiences that adapt to the individual. At The Upper House, this translates into spaces that feel calm, considered and quietly restorative.

The programme is further enriched through a series of ongoing wellness residencies. From infrared-heated sculpting sessions by And Sculpt to the intuitive and energetic guidance of Stone & Star, each residency offers a distinct pathway into movement and mindfulness. Sound practitioner May Nogoy adds another layer, introducing immersive sound and tea experiences that invite guests into stillness and reflection.
Together, these elements form a holistic approach to wellbeing — one that moves beyond the individual and into shared experience. At The Upper House, wellness is not simply a practice, but a way of connecting — with oneself, and with others.
