The 1,700-sq.-ft space accommodates about 70 people at high bar tables, in wooden-screened semi-private booths, or the main dining section. The decor is inviting – with red chairs lining a long, classic, black-and-red Korean bar dressed with red neon-lit panels, and eye-catching red and dark-blue accents from South Korea’s flag reinforcing the interior’s cultural identity. The vivid feature wall adds further splashes of colour to the modern vibe, and the gender-neutral washroom is a highlight with striking murals, mosaic and neon art.
Seasonings and sauces are crucial to the anju dining spirit. At ANJU Restaurant & Bar, kimchi, soy sauce, Korean mirin, gochujang (red chilli paste), chogochujang (red chilli paste with vinegar and sesame), vinegar and Korean miso are sourced from historic and renowned producers in Korea, then mixed and matched to enhance individual dishes.
ANJU Restaurant & Bar is located at Shop R004, Civic Square, Elements, Kowloon Station, 1 Austin Road West, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
