Woolly Pig Hong Kong’s Hottest Summer Burgers

Burger lovers are in luck! In celebration of the arrival of summer,  Woolly Pig Hong Kong, the savvy dining group best known for its innovative restaurants, has rolled out “The Hottest Burgers this Summer” special menu, where each of the group’s venues will present a special burger, inspired by the iconic flavours of each venue.

The special burger is priced at HK$98 each; it is available during dinner service every Monday and Tuesday, from now until 31 August 2022.


 


Bathers, Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Lantau

Surf & Turf Beach Burger – Bathers takes the ingredient-driven culinary innovation and laid-back ambience of Australia’s contemporary beach club. The special surf & turf burger is served with the toasted burger bun, layered with 7oz Australia Wagyu beef patty and grilled tiger prawn, and topped with Emmenthal cheese, tomato, lettuce and chipotle mayo.

Hoki Fish Burger – Echoing the summer breezy holiday by the beach in New Zealand, just like INK’s location at the edge of the spectacular Victoria Harbour, the battered New Zealand fish fillet is crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection in the middle, served in the lightly sweet milk bread bun, along with pickled cucumber, dill, red onion, lettuce, mayo and French mustard.

MAJO Tapas Paella Bar in SoHo

Hamburguesa de Pulpo – inspired by the Mediterranean summer, MAJO’s special burger is served with grilled octopus and drizzled with Mojo Rojo sauce, red onion, and the savoury squid ink aioli, all layered beautifully in a freshly baked prawn bisque soft bun.

The Francais Classic Burger – Bernard Boutboul, the general director of Gira Conseil, believes that the burger is smashing success in France because it has transcended its fast-food origins for the refined French palates. The Francais Classic burger at District 8 is made with Wagyu beef patty, dill pickle, Lyonaisse onion, and Comte cheese.

Smoked Pastrami Double Beef Burger – By bringing a brewery and kitchen together, the link between beer and food at GRAIN is evident, with crowd-pleasing gastropub dishes that incorporate fresh, seasonal ingredients, as well as those integral to brewing. Therefore GRAIN’s special burger features house-smoked pastrami, juicy Wagyu beef patty and it is topped with sauerkraut, Provolone cheese, beer pickle, and mustard, served in GRAIN’s brioche bun.
