XUÂN Relaunches Dinner with New Authentic Vietnamese Plates

Hong Kong’s most authentic Vietnamese restaurant XUÂN is serving up a freshly revamped menu of regional fare as it reopens for dinner at both the new Harbour City and flagship Wan Chai locations.

With four diners now able to enjoy an authentic Vietnamese feast together, dishes like the Bun Platter (HK$128-138) platter are sure to be a top choice. Guests will enjoy the lo hei-style presentation as well as the fresh and aromatic Vietnamese flavours. The Crispy Suckling Pig (HK$268/quarter) is a popular dish in rural areas, and XUÂN’s secret marinade ensures a true-to-tradition experience. Guests can expect perfectly crispy skin with a slightly sweet glaze and juicy, tender meat.

Bo Luc Lac Shaking Beef (HK$268) is such a popular Vietnamese dish that neighbouring Cambodia has incorporated the mouthwatering plate into its culinary repertoire, too! The stir-fried beef is first marinated in Phu Quoc’s famed fish sauce, soy sauce and a touch of coconut sugar for sweetness. The premium morsels of meat are vigorously wok-tossed as per the dish’s name and served piping hot to hungry guests.

Fans of the brand will be pleased to find that the jaw-dropping Hanoi-style Signature Beef Pho (HK$158) with optional add-ons like Roasted Beef Bone Marrow (HK$50) or a Fresh Farm Egg (HK$20) remain on the menu. Not to be missed is the Bun Bo Hue (HK$138). Hailing from the former royal city of Hue in Central Vietnam, this satisfying and fiery dish flawlessly balances spice, salt and umami. Rich and flavourful lemongrass-infused, spicy broth, slippery vermicelli, tender beef shin, fatty pork belly, homemade meatballs and fresh herbs are combined to create this underappreciated dish which is perfect to enjoy at all times.
